The firing of Austin is so wrong. He is an adult and his privet life does not reflect on his fine acting. While the story and acting is great TPTB are wrong in killing off Brad. I am so angry I can't enjoy this story for what it is. Brad was the one shining light on the show as he brought intelligence in the chaos surrounding him. Brad is going to be greatly missed and in my opinion this is a foolhardy decision all around.

I agree. Killing Brad was a VERY bad move. They transformed his character from a jerky boob into someone you just love and he and Katie were great together & so happy. That poor women is never allowed to be happy. At this point I have no desire to watch anymore and it was my favorite soap. Very angry and disappointed. If they needed to get rid of someone why not Henry's Mom or Damien they both suck. This is as bad as when they Killed Dusty NO it's worse. And Vienna's gone now too. ATWT writers Blowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Or why not get rid of Lilly or Meg sick to death of those two. They killed one of the best couples and story lines going on in the show right now. JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND.

What is going on with these writers? Killing off Brad was not a smart move. The great potential in the storylines for him and Katie and their new baby... These new characters and storylines have been exciting, but killing off Brad was not the answer. I am having flashbacks of Jennifers death etc. Why r u getting rid of the good characters? COME ON!!

I agree. this is crazy to let him go because of this..That was a personal issue. What they do outside of business is there business. Erotic that one of our presidents did something that he shouldn't yet he didnt loose his job in fact today i read someone donated him a statue. If he can keep his job why couldn't Austin. Austin Peck! I will miss you. Please try to act on another CBS
Soap so I can see you again!

and whats crazier is that they are going to keep him on for awhile as a ghost! I am not sure why they went in that direction..Its just plain weired. I heart some of the GL writers are now with the ATWT team! I hope they don't let them take over b/c we see where they got GL now don't we?

What a shame that they have taken such a great actor off the soap when they keep on introducing such mediocre ones. Austin really had talent and was able to deliver those lines so realistically. I would sit amazement at how well he played his role. Unless the actor was causing trouble, asking for more money, or unless it was a request of the actor himself, his removal is a real tragedy, but it is in line with what the power-that-be usually have done.
