Oakdale's summer population continues to swell. It looks like Janet's family dynamic is about to get a lot more complicated, since we may be seeing less of Carly in the coming months thanks to Maura West's recent baby news, fans of ATWT can look forward to Janet and Jack sharing the screen with a different woman. Vanessa Ray has been cast as Janet's younger sister, Teri Ciccone.
Not simply an actress, Ray is also a talented singer who recently completed an acclaimed run in the Tony winning musical, "Spelling Bee." In the past few years, she has also made appearances in the movies "The Sparky Chronicles," "One Girl Revolution" and the TV series "Marriage Under Construction." She began taping scenes earlier this month.
Audiences can expect to see Teri in late July.
