Aw, man, so Damian's going to be a bad guy again? Can't we get a break? Dami-YUM is just that – Yummy! – and we don't want him sent back to Malta or worse prison, do we? I think not! But things aren't looking good for him…or Katie…or Craig for that matter.

Who Cares About Guilt?
We have been discussing this on the boards all week and there seem to be two camps on the murder storyline front: those who don't care about actual guilt and just want Craig jailed and those who want justice – for this crime – to be served. Although I can see both sides of the story, facts are facts and if Craig is charged and convicted of this crime and the truth that someone else did it comes out, he will basically have a free pass for any future – or past! – crimes. Plus every arrest Jack has made will be called into question.
Craig is not a nice man. Although he seems to have turned over a new leaf, many fans don't care. They see Craig and they see Bryant's death/Rosanna's crash/Paul's car-bombing/embezzlement /constant manipulating and a host of other crimes. Jack is a nice guy. A formerly moral guy but he is ignoring the fact that he has no evidence against Craig and no motive. Although the guns and the murder victim were on the docks that Craig was using, so were many other unsavory characters. And Dusty? The character assassination has begun! The former hero is now manufacturing evidence, bullying both Lucy and Meg and basically being a pain in the …. you know.
All of this makes for good storyline, for me. I hate the Jack is so focused on Craig, but I'm rooting for him to see the light and be the Jack we all know and love. I hate that Craig is being framed, and I'm rooting for him to be freed. At the same time, I hope the past catches up with Craig and he has to answer for something already! And I really hope that the writers are about done killing Dusty's character. Give him something to do for crying out loud! There are only so many women in Oakdale. I'd love to see Dusty in a romantic storyline for once instead of a guns-blazing storyline!
Are past crimes enough for a conviction? (Soaps.com)
Okay, this is more about Chris than Chris' parents. Did anyone else notice the 5-minute conversation between Kim and Bob about Chris? They hoped he was okay, they hoped he would be home soon, they wondered how to get him home. Hmmm…Does that mean Chris is really headed back to Oakdale? And would that be a good thing or a bad thing?
Were We Wrong About Damian?
It appears that we were. Not only is he doing something unsavory at the docks, he's now taken Lucinda and Holden hostage! At least he isn't badgering or un-brain-washing Luke from his sexual preference, but many of us were hoping for a good Damian this time around. And for a long stay! With him going after Holden and Lucinda so soon, I wonder how long he'll be around Oakdale. I'm already preparing my mourning wardrobe!
Baby Busted!
Did anyone else go through a box of tissues on Thursday? I've beat up on Katie a little the past few weeks because of her overly possessive, all about Katie attitude. But on Thursday, she brought me back to her side (Wow! Is Terri Colombino a great actress or what?)! I felt the betrayal, hurt and anger that she felt when they figured out that 1) the baby was Henry's but 2) Vienna and Henry had been lying about it from the get-go. And I loved it when Brad tossed the two out!
I'm not against Vienna and Henry at all; in fact, I'm jumping for joy at Henry's change of heart! Their hearts were in the right place, but had they told Brad and Katie about everything from the beginning, none of this would have happened.
Final Thoughts
Is Damian's shipping operation really behind the guns and the murder? Or is yet another criminal faction operating on the docks? Maybe if Jack would start really investigating we would find out!
