ATWT's Martha Byrne Produces A Film! Tuesday, September 02 2008

Since her departure last spring, As The World Turns fans have been clamoring for news from Martha Byrne (ex-Lily). It seems Ms. Martha has been super busy in the past six months - she has starred in a play, begun working with an online company for her music and is producing a short film! Wow! Okay, without further ado, here are your details!

Martha is currently producing a short film called "Chrysalis", which boasts another former Oakdaleite at it's helm. The film was written and directed by Paul Leyden (ex-Simon)! Martha's on-screen ex, Paolo Seganti (ex-Damian) starred in the project. The film is a dark comedy; as soon as we know a release date, Soaps.com will pass it along to you!

In music news, Martha continues to write and sing music. She has started to work with an online company called TalkMarket to market her music. The website has a short clip of Martha singing and talking about her song "Find My Way Back", which was featured on the show! How cool is that? You can watch Martha in action by, clicking here.

And finally, Martha starred in a play called "Other People's Money" at the John W. Engeman Theatre at Northport in Northport, New York earlier this summer. Production on the play has wrapped but Martha says it was a special experience! Will she do more plays? We'll have to wait and see, but I sure hope so!
