Laurence Lau Comes to As The World Turns

Friday, July 25 2008

Laurence Lau (Soaps.com)
Soap opera veteran Laurence Lau (ex-Greg, All My Children, ex-Jamie, Another World) is coming to Oakdale! Soaps.com has learned that Laurence will take on the role of Brian Wheatley, a man who has business with Lucinda.

Recently, Laurence completed a short return to All My Children as the beloved Greg. Though fans were hoping that Greg's return would be permanent - and might lead to the return of long-dead Jenny - it appears that the powers that be at ABC had other ideas. We can't rule out another short-term stint, though, especially with the Hubbards and Tad getting back to their old haunts!

Laurence is best known for his roles as Greg on All My Children and as Dr. Jamie Frame on Another World, but some of you may also remember seeing him as Sam Rappaport on One Life To Live.

Laurence's episodes begin airing on August 18, 2008.

Soaps.com welcomes Laurence to Oakdale! We hope to see you around town for a long time!

Why would they bring in Laurence Lau as a love interest for Lucinda? She is old enough to be his grandmother. gag.

Why not, Lucinda is a vivacious Lady....She needs more air time and a decent story
