When we last saw Dr. Decker, he was committed to a mental institution after a murderous spree that included the deaths of Nurse Krebbs, Dr. Gordon and reporter Jeffrey Starr.
His crime spree also included the attempted murders of Bob Hughes, Susan Stewart, Allison Stewart and Barbara Ryan!
Will the criminally insane doctor be released on good behavior? Or has he plotted another escape attempt? Will he try to make amends for his bad deeds? Or just pick up where he left off? We'll have to wait and see but one thing is for certain: life in Oakdale and at Memorial Hospital won't be the same after this summer!
John James originated the role of Dr. Decker in 2003 and left the show in 2004. Most recently, he played Dr. Jeff Martin on All My Children; he left that role late last fall. James is best known, however, for his role as Jeff Colby on the 1980's primetime soaps Dynasty and The Colby's.
He and wife Denise, along with their two children, live on a farm in upstate New York.
