Craig tracks Carly down in a bar in South Carolina. She's just been drinking seltzers and orders him to leave. He tells her that he's taking her home to her children. She refuses to let Jack deal with his demons on his own. Craig still refuses to leave without her.
Craig takes Carly to her motel room. They begin trading barbs and he insists that he and Rosanna trust each other. She says her sister never learns from her mistakes. Craig admits that they wouldn't be able to live with themselves if Carly relapsed and ended up in the gutter. She taunts him to call Rosanna and tell her that they are in a motel together. He owes up to letting her down and claims he doesn't want to abandon her again. She insists that she has turned her life around and asks him to leave her alone. Before he does, he finds a vodka bottle in the trash. She claims she dumped the booze out and called her sponsor. She knows that she'll never be out of the woods. They share chocolate and he asks her why she's chasing Jack. She says it's because she's scared to see him unravel like this. When she tells him that Jack is looking for Simon, he's not pleased. "Jack is lost," she says. She owes him and has to bring him home. "Jack's off on an emotional bender," Craig summarizes. He's glad that when they screw up, they don't lose their identities.
Craig returns to Oakdale with flowers for Rosanna. He apologizes for not being more considerate and tells her he'll get the hang of being honest. She nervously asks him to marry her. He flashes back to Carly's hand and then tells Rosanna that they should get married.
At home, Carly calls Ben to get Mike's address. Rosanna arrives. She brought muffins as a peace offering. "Wouldn't a basket of tarts be more appropriate?" Carly jokes, bitterly. Rosanna says that Craig explained they made some progress yesterday. "Is that what he called it?" Carly asks. Rosanna tries to explain herself, how she had no choice and all of this has taken her by surprise. "Why is it so predictable somehow?" Carly asks. Craig arrives and tells Rosanna that she doesn't need to beg anyone for forgiveness. Carly taunts him and baits him. Craig refuses to apologize for being in love and won't leave Rosanna alone with her sister. He says that they all need to finish with the 'sexual torture' and move on with their lives. Once Craig and Rosanna leave, Carly calls Parker and tells him that she is going to bring his father home. She takes out her compass and stares.
Craig and Rosanna go back to his place. He's sorry but doesn't want to apologize anymore. He points out that her sister isn't doing anything to make the situation better. "Is it all the 'sexual torture' that's making the situation so intolerable?" she asks. He tells her that Carly is manipulating her. "I love you and I'm proud of us and humbled by the idea that you can love me back," he explains. He's sure her sister will be fine and tells her that he is only worried about her. They kiss. As they make out on the sofa, he suddenly gets a flash of Carly.
In Philadelphia, Craig and Rosanna are locked up and he begins babbling to their guard about his affair with Rosanna. This doesn't make the guard more sympathetic. Instead, she throws his meal at him and walks away. Margo soon arrives after bailing them out. They're let out of the cell. Craig leaves to sign paperwork and Margo asks Rosanna if she knows what she's doing. Rosanna doesn't but she can't let go of him. When Rosanna leaves to sign, Craig returns and tells his sister he really loves Rosanna. This has all knocked him sideways. His sister warns him that he's been down this road before.
"You've had your fun. Now it's my turn," Craig declares as he walks into Carly's. She smirks. He insists that none of this is Rosanna's fault. Carly begins mocking him and warns that she can take him away from her sister whenever she feels like it. He tells her she's overestimating how attractive she is and he's 'cured' of her charms. He tries walking out but she stops him and asks him if he thinks about her when he's in bed with her sister. "Does she know how to do the things I did?" she asks. "When you look at her, remember what you really need is right here," she adds, letting him leave. Once he's gone, Parker returns and tells her that Janet won't go searching for Jack.
Craig goes home and finds that Rosanna has dinner ready for him. She doesn't regret falling in love with him. He tells her that he tried to make peace with her sister and then stares off, worried.
At Craig's, Rosanna is beating herself up over the affair. He doesn't feel that bad about it and suggests she move in with him. She thinks he's out of his mind. He backs down but says he will ask her again. He wants this to be about them, not Carly.
Rosanna calls and Parker tells her that Carly has gone to Philly to rescue Jack. Rosanna and Craig worry that she might be drinking again and rush off to find her.
