Holden arrives at Metro just as Carly does. He has brochures and she agrees to help him. He compliments her outfit and she tells him to back off before she gets another lecture from Lily. Holden apologizes for that. Carly says she is used to defending herself and then says she should skip the party. Lily walks in and agrees with Holden. Lucinda and Brian arrive and Lucinda gets catty with Carly. "Pull in the claws, Mother," Lily says. Margo arrives and watches Meg for a moment. Then, she asks Meg for a truthful statement. Emily sees them and interrupts before Margo can get much farther. Margo walks off; Emily asks what is going on but Meg won't tell her. Emily decides this is about Paul, which only upsets Meg more. Jack and Janet arrive and the benefit gets underway. Holden and Lily play hosts for the event. Lucinda interrupts to announce that Worldwide is selling the land back to Emma for $1! This means all of the money raised can go toward the park; the crowd is thrilled. Holden takes center stage again to introduce Will Dailey, who sings for the crowd. Carly serves drinks to the crowd and watches Jack and Janet together. She watches Holden, too. Meanwhile, Margo keeps a close eye on Meg and Brian puts his arm around Lucinda. Lily offers to help Carly so Carly gives her a tray of champagne to distribute. Lily turns around and sees Dusty there! Lily can't believe it. Holden confronts Meg about why Dusty is there as Lucinda freaks out. "He's not supposed to be here," she whispers. Margo steps up and asks what is going on. Dusty tells her exactly what happened in the lighthouse and swears Meg is innocent. He says he swore Meg to secrecy. Emily sees him and is stunned. She follows as Margo hauls Dusty to jail. Holden convinces Lily to stay to help save the benefit but Lucinda leaves and so does Jack and Janet. Lily overhears Holden and Meg talking about Dusty and realizes they knew he was alive before tonight. Holden asks for her forgiveness. Will sings another song, requested by Holden for Lily. Lily asks Holden to dance. She can't stop thinking about Dusty, though.
Mike stops by Lily's and shocks her when he says he is leaving town - for Europe! He says there are some job opportunities for him there with Neal's company. Lily feels like this is her fault; Mike says he doesn't blame her but he is going to miss her - and the kids! He makes her promise to be happy with Holden. She tells him to be happy. She tells him he deserves the best in his new life. "You are an amazing woman," he says and kisses her. Lucinda and Brian walk up and interrupt them. Lily tells them about Mike's plans; Lucinda wishes him well. Mike leaves. Before Lucinda can start in, Lily tells her not to worry about Mike or Carly because she and Holden are on the same page.
Lucinda, Luke, Brian and Lily are going over the final benefit preparations at Metro when Carly and Holden walk in. Lily goes straight to Carly and asks what she is doing there! Holden tells Lily this isn't what she thinks. Noah and Luke leave. Lily turns on Carly again but Holden won't let her get started. He tells her about James and the search for Meg and Jack's injury. Lily wonders why Carly isn't with Jack. Holden says they can fight outside. Lucinda introduces Carly and Brian. Lucinda pushes Carly's buttons and she goes behind the bar. Brian calls Lucinda on her actions. Lucinda says she is just worried about Lily. Brian says falling in love is a risky business. Lucinda talks about her years of experience in love. Brian says she may be wiser but she's certainly not older! Lucinda is charmed; Brian says that is the point!
In the kitchen, Emma tells Lily that she is canceling the project. Lily says Emma has to think about her financial future but Emma remains determined and leaves the kitchen. Mike says he'll be moving on, too, unless Lily wants him to stay in Oakdale. Lily says things have changed and he shouldn't stay in town on her behalf. Holden returns inside. Lucinda arrives with Luke and Brian. Emma says her idea is to turn the land into a park for kids. Lucinda says she'll get a big write-off for that and Brian says he can help her raise money for the park. Holden and Lily leave.
In the woods, Luke and Noah set up their tent while Brian helps Lucinda set up hers. She is surprised when he grabs a sleeping bag and says he is going to sleep in the men's tent. He goes into the tent as Noah and Luke are wrestling around and asks if he can take up one corner. The boys are surprised, Luke especially, because they thought he was going to make his move on Lucinda this weekend. A while later, Brian takes them into a wooded area and teaches them how to hunt mushrooms. He returns to the campsite to get a few more things ready. Lucinda and Luke don't want to hunt mushrooms but Noah points out that Brian took a lot of time in making this a fun weekend - he even cleared their sleeping area of rocks and brambles! They agree to stick it out. Lucinda spots a mushroom and goes after it but winds up with a head full of brambles. Luke helps her back to camp where Brian has finished the preparations. He sees her and gently removes the brambles from her hair. Luke and Noah are impressed with his sensitivity. Luke and Noah watch a short video clip of Lucinda in the woods and laugh. Luke brings up Noah's canceled film trip to Rome and he says the trip is back on because another student backed out. Luke is bummed but accepts that Noah has to take the trip. Noah asks him to come along but Luke can't because of the Foundation and the wedding. They are about to kiss when Brian walks into the tent to say Lucinda is napping. He asks the boys to come along with him on another hunt. They follow him into the woods.
In Old town, Brian and Lucinda are making plans for the foundation. Luke refuses to forgive Brian's faux pas and needles him about it. Brian apologizes - again - but insists he was just trying to help Luke with the business people he gets involved with. Lucinda brings up dinner but Luke says he can't go because of Aaron and Alison's engagement party. Brian and Lucinda continue on to Al's and discuss the pros of hamburgers and the fun of a mushroom hunt. Brian asks her to come camping with him so they can watch the stars and mushroom hunt. She is charmed and accepts.
Luke and Noah return home to get ready for the party. They are nearly ready to go when Lucinda arrives and asks Luke to give Brian another chance. Luke refuses but Lucinda begs him. When she leaves, Noah tells Luke he is overreacting. Luke says it is time they investigated Brian on their own! Luke tries calling all of the numbers on Brian's resume and when no one answers decides he is hiding something. Noah says it is normal for business people to not answer the phone after business hours. Brian walks in and says if they want to know something, they should just ask! Luke asks what his game is; Brian says he doesn't play games and he believes in Luke's plans. Luke accuses him of going after Lucinda for her money. Brian says Lucinda is fascinating and invites Luke and Noah along on the camp out. Luke agrees and Brian walks out. Luke calls Aaron to apologize for missing the party. He turns to Noah and says Brian is shady; Noah says Brian sees very straightforward. Luke says that Brian wouldn't have told him to guard his gayness if he was really okay with homosexuality. They joke about mushroom hunting; Luke says the trip will show Brian's true colors.
