NOAH MAYER'S HISTORY
Noah arrived in Oakdale as a summer intern with WOAK. His family lives in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, where his father is stationed with the military. As soon as Noah arrived on the scene, Luke became very attracted to him. Noah finally admitted her was gay and broke things off wit Maddie, who left town. He and Luke dated but when Noah's father found out, he tried to kill Luke. Noah's father was imprisoned; Noah had even more problems dealing with his homosexuality.
Ameera arrived in town and had connections to Noah's father. She was going to be deported and faced possible death in Iraq so Noah married her. She developed real feelings for him but he was still in love with Luke. Ameera was kidnapped by the Colonel but Noah saved her life. To save himself, the Colonel jump in the Hudson River; his body was never found.
Noah wanted to take a break but Luke wouldn't let him. After Ameera left town, he decided to join the Army but Luke convinced him not to. They are currently dating.

Monday, February 01 2010: Home Lobotomy.
Down the corridor, Noah tells Luke that he will only be able to 'literally see' him again if he stays out of his life as Dr. Oliver has ordered. "We're supposed to be partners," Luke complains. Noah says it will only be for a few months. They sit down and Luke explains how his father ran off. Noah apologizes for being so self-involved. As they hold hands, Dr. Oliver walks in and interrupts. Luke tells Reid that he hates him for keeping him away from Noah when he needs him, but he'll do it for his sake. Luke walks into his mother and tells her about Damian running off. "Hallelujah!" Lucinda says. Luke needs an explanation for her reaction.
Luke runs into Noah outside of the bookstore. They catch up. Luke wants to tell him all about what he's feeling, but he won't mess things up for him and Dr. Oliver. Noah tells him this is stupid. Luke walks away.
Friday, January 29 2010: This Is Reality.
Noah is at Lily's. He listens to his DVD and then throws it away. He calls Maddie over. When she arrives, she finds the DVD on the floor. He's grouchy and asks her if she will take him to the hospital so he can beg Oliver for help. She thinks Luke should be involved but he blames him for messing things up with the neurosurgeon. Before they can leave, Luke arrives. He warns them that Dr. Oliver is still impossible. Noah wants to try anyway. He and Maddie leave. Luke answers a call from his father. Damian asks him to meet him at the office immediately.
Noah and Maddie go to the hospital. He complains about Luke acting like a Grimaldi. Dr. Oliver walks by. Maddie runs off. "You can't leave him here. What if he trips over a nurse?" Reid yells at her. Noah continues asking him for help and admits that he doesn't like what Luke has been doing. Noah begs him to add him to his list of successful operations. Reid checks him over again and agrees to operate, claiming he is 'cautiously optimistic' but won't guarantee anything. He makes Noah agree to keep Luke away from him.
Luke finds Noah standing in the hospital hallway. Noah explains that he got Dr. Oliver to agree to the surgery. He tells him that they have to stay away from each other.
