ALISON STEWART'S HISTORY
Alison's birth was a bit unusual. At the time her mother Susan was upset that she couldn't carry a child for her younger husband, Larry. Emily, Alison's sister, donated an egg which was fertilized and implanted into Susan's womb. Alison has been raised by Susan. Alison learned the truth when she was 16. She rebelled against both Emily and Susan at the time and turned to Aaron for comfort.
After a boxing match left Aaron partially paralyzed, the two became very close and fell in love. Aaron soon received word that his mother was sick in Seattle and he left town. Eventually he sent for Allie, asking her to come and be with him. She left Oakdale to be with him.
In 2007, Emily was on a mission to find Alison after seeing a porn film starring Allie. She found her, with the help of Dusty Donovan, living in Las Vegas and addicted to meth. Alison and Dusty had a one night stand while she was still in Vegas but didn't tell Emily. The truth came out when Lance, her porn director and meth dealer, came to Oakdale. Alison refused to return to her old life so Lance left a DVD he had made of her one night stand. Emily found it and was horrified to learn of the event. She left town.
Alison tried to get her life together by starting over with Aaron. He had a hard time accepting her past porn career but they were slowly working toward a true friendship when Sofie Duran arrived in town. Sofie's friendship with Aaron was a thorn in Allie's side because Aaron kept dumping her to be with Sofie. Alison took a job as an aide at the hospital. Soon after this Emily returned - with Chris Hughes on her arm!
Dusty was livid with this and tried to make Emily see the light; she refused. This caused Dusty to try to paint Chris as an unfit doctor and when Bob was put into a coma, he thought he had proof. Chris and Dusty fought, causing a rift between Alison and Dusty, too. Dusty was killed soon after; Alison learned that he had provided for her education in his will and decided to go to nursing school.
School was hard for her and her grades suffered. The instructor wanted to kick her out of the program but Chris Hughes intervened and convinced the woman to let her keep studying. Chris and Alison began to date but every time they came close to making love, Allie got cold feet. Finally, Chris had enough and went after her one morning. He found her at the Snyder farm, wearing Aaron's t-shirt and got the wrong idea. He told the nursing instructor that he was done helping Alison. She was expelled from the program that day. Alison filed sexual harassment charges but Chris won the case. She was readmitted to the nursing program.
Soon after, she received a bracelet, supposedly from Larry. It was actually a poisoned gift from Rick Decker. He kidnapped her at the hospital, hoping to ransom her for his freedom. Chris stopped him and saved Alison's life. Their friendship was renewed but then Aaron proposed. Alison decided she needed Aaron's strength in her life and accepted but the night before the wedding she slept with Chris!
Alison kept her secret.

Thursday, October 09 2008: O.V.E.R. That's What We Are!
From the hospital, Dusty calls Meg to tell her that Paul's debts have been paid. Meg is relieved. Dusty tells her to watch out because Paul is unstable but Meg won't listen. A while later, Allie arrives, thrilled to see him. He says she is the only one. She promises to pay back his 'inheritance' but Dusty tells her not to. She tells him about her marriage to Aaron and sleeping with Chris. "I could have used your advice," she says. Dusty says true love will conquer all and she has to figure out if she still loves Aaron. Dusty's doctor comes in to check his shoulder wound. Alison asks who shot him and he says it was Paul.
Dusty walks out of his hospital room and bumps into Susan. She isn't happy to see him and tells him to stay away from Emily! Dusty says he didn't want to hurt Emily. Susan says if he doesn't back off she will come after him - and kill him! He walks away. Emily walks up and reports that she has a clean bill of health. Allison hurries by with Dusty's meds and tells them about his infection. This irks Susan who asks why they are letting Dusty pull them in; the girls say they are just friends with Dusty. Emily takes the prescription and leaves. Susan turns to Alison and asks what Dusty wants in return for paying for Allie's school. Alison says Dusty doesn't want anything. Aaron calls and asks if they can meet. Alison reluctantly agrees.
Alison and Aaron meet at Java. She says he has to stop forgiving her! She says she can't be the woman he needs her to be and that he deserves better. Alison tells Aaron to let her go! Aaron leaves. Casey arrives. He and Alison cry on one another's shoulders about their lost loves. Casey tells Alison he has the cure for their blues and walks with her back to his house. They play video games for the afternoon.
Monday, October 06 2008: Who Knew First?
Casey and Alison run into each other at Java and commiserate over their busted love lives. He tells her about Emily's operation and their break up. Alison tells him about sleeping with Chris and is surprised when Casey says he already knew but was keeping the secret. Alison can't believe it. Casey tells her that Aaron may come around; she says Emily will come around faster than Aaron and Casey takes that to mean that Alison believes he overreacted.
Emily goes to the hospital to confront Susan about Dusty. Susan didn't know. Emily is shocked. Susan says both Emily and Alison better stay far away from Dusty. Emily leaves. Alison arrives a while later and Susan drops the bomb on her. She can't believe Dusty is alive. Susan says things will be okay since Allie is happily married. "My marriage may be over," Alison says. Susan is stunned.
Casey arrives at the hospital and tells Alison that Emily blew him off. Alison says it has to be Dusty's return. Casey is shocked. He says Emily said it was because of the age difference and then blames himself. He believes that if he hadn't sent her away because of the surgery she would still be with him. Alison isn't so sure.
