Outside Lily and Holden's, Jack corrects Vienna telling her the argument between him and Brad is not about her. She flirts with Jack telling him there must be something she can do to get his mind of Carly. Parker notices and runs off. Jack runs after him. He catches up with Parker and tries to talk to him, but Brad and Vienna interrupt. Jack kindly advises them to leave so he can talk to Parker, but when they do, Parker goes back inside without speaking to Jack.
At the Snyder farm, Vienna tells Brad it may come as a surprise to him, but she has feelings for him. He asks her to tell him more. She says he's a very handsome man - strong, funny, wild and very sweet to her, but she says her heart's with another man. He guesses Jack. She asks if he knows then why is he trying to start something between them.
He says Jack is hung-up on Carly, but he suggests the two of them pretend to like each other in order to make Jack jealous. She hesitates, but he says he's okay with it. "I'm a big boy. You're not going to hurt my feelings," he adds. She agrees to go along with his plan, so they immediately get to work as they begin kissing passionately!
As soon as Parker walks in the house, he finds Brad and Vienna making out on the kitchen table! Once they see Parker with Jack, they quickly stop and apologize. Parker says in this family he's use to it, and he heads for his room. Once Parker's out of the room, Jack jumps them for carrying on like a bunch of teenagers. He reminds them that he has three kids in the house. Brad laughs, but Jack doesn't find it funny at all. Brad apologizes. He says showing affection in front of the children was bad. Vienna agrees with Jack. She says they shouldn't have gotten carried away in front of the children, and apologizes for her actions. He tells her he's not the one she should be apologizing to. She says she'll tuck Parker in and apologize to him, but Jack says the only thing she'll be doing when she goes upstairs is packing her stuff and getting out! Brad steps in saying Emma invited her to stay so he can't kick her out. "The h*** I can't," he retorts. He goes on to say the kids are confused enough, and they don't need him turning the place into a frat house. "I'm sure Emma would understand that," he adds. Vienna says if Jack wants her to go she'll get a suite at Lakeview. As soon as she leaves to pack, Jack gives Brad a hard look.
"What? What? You can't kick me out. I'm family just like you," Brad reminds.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah," Brad repeats.
"Then you can start paying rent just like me too," Jack retorts.
"Oh, come on man. You know I'm low on cash right now. I mean why don't you just cut me a break until I get back upon my feet?"
"Well, here's the first chance to get back upon your feet… want ads - section two," Jack replies, handing him the newspaper.
At the Snyder farm, Jack confronts Brad about not helping around the farm. He says he's either sitting on his "duff" or, now, rolling on the floor with Vienna. Brad accuses him of being jealous. Jack says it's not about Vienna, and he thanks him for cleaning up the kitchen, but Brad admits Vienna done most the work.
While Jack starts dinner, Brad goes on about how attractive Vienna is, but Jack tells him to stop, and the two argue. "What's going on?" Holden asks as he comes through the door. Brad says it's about a woman, but Jack says it's not. After breaking up the argument, Holden invites them over for dinner. They accept.
Once Jack and Holden leave, Vienna comes back out. Brad invites her to join him for dinner at Lily and Holden's. She smiles, and then accepts his invitation.
Jack, Sage, Brad and Vienna arrive at Lily and Holden's. Brad introduces Vienna. After the introduction, Vienna says she's going to powder her nose, Sage and Faith offer to show her the way. Brad says he hopes she doesn't mind him bringing Vienna. She says the more the merrier. Vienna comes back and Lily offers her a hors d'oeuvre. She takes just one. As the guys and Vienna chat, Lily turns her back to them and pops another pill, but she fails to notice Faith watching her!
Later, Faith offers Cousin Brad another hors d'oeuvre. He takes one, and then she polishes off the rest of them. After polishing off the hors d'oeuvre, she leaves the room. Meanwhile, the conversation among the adults comes to a halt when Brad comments Lily's décor! He jokes asking if they had a gay decorator do it, but Lily snaps telling him to apologize and get out of her home. He's shocked! He doesn't understand, and asks if they have something against gay decorators. Jack steps him taking Brad outside.
Outside, Jack fills Brad in on Luke being gay. He asks why someone didn't tell him. Jack says he didn't expect him to come to the party and spout off like some homophobic. He says he's not a homophobic. In fact, he says some of his best friends are gay. Vienna intrudes. She assumes they're fighting about her. "Jack, no, no, he's your brother. The two of you have to stop fighting about me."
At the Snyder farm, Brad offers to take the kids to school tomorrow to give Jack a break, but Jack tells him to back off, and asks him what really happened in North Carolina. He explains that he was laid off, but Jack doesn't believe him, and tells him to stick to the facts. He says he and his boss were butting heads. He wants to know what he has in mind and how his family fits into his plans. He says he'll get a job -- something he's good at, but something without a suit. Jack isn't thrilled, but Brad says he's not looking for a free ride. Jack says if he stays then he's going to do chores and help around the farm.
After Jack leaves, Vienna arrives. Brad compliments her saying she's looking beautiful. She says she doesn't have time, because she has chores to do. He says she's lucky, because he happens to love chores.
Later, Brad places the dishes into a tub, hands them to Vienna then says he'll meet her outside. Once outside, Vienna attempts to chop wood, but has no success. Brad offers to show her how to use an axe. While giving her a lesson on chopping wood, he flirts with her.
Back at the Snyder farm, Vienna and Brad find a chicken on the kitchen table. As they try to catch it, the two end up on the floor on top of each other. Jack comes in and finds them!
At the Snyder farm, Brad calls Carly a lying, cheating tramp! When he sees it upset his brother, he says he gets it, Carly's off limits. He clarifies that she's not off limits. He just wants the kids to feel comfortable talking about her when ever they want, but he says they don't need somebody bashing her. He says he's not bashing her. He's just saying she hasn't changed much since. Jack asks when he thinks he's going to get back to his factory job. He says it depends on how much help he needs around there. He says he can take care of his own kids. "I get it, I get it, alright. You know, you feel like punching someone," Brad responds. "I feel like punching you actually." "Look, I'm not the one you're mad at. Carly's the one that checked out on you. I didn't dump three kids on you, she did." He says he's nuts if he thinks he can just show up and expect Emma to take care of him. He says he came to help with the kids. "I guess it can't hurt to have another pair of hands around here to help," Jack admits.
Soon after, they hear Vienna call out. She enters the room catching Brad's attention. After Jack introduces them, he tells her he thought she was going back to the prince, but she says he banished her from the kingdom. Brad says she can trust him, but Jack doesn't believe it’s a good idea. Brad says they can't throw her out with no place to go. She begs Jack to stay. He says if Emma says its okay she can. "I'm sure she would. I'm going to go upstairs and unpack," she replies, giving him a peck on the cheek. After she leaves, Brad comments on how her face can make a man's troubles disappear. "Or they can make them worse," Jack replies. "Hey, don't let one experience get you down. Not every woman turns out to be Carly." "How many times do I got to tell you to lay off of Carly. You had no trouble staying out of my life the last couple of years. Do me a favor… keep it that way," Jack shouts in anger.
