Back at WOAK, Brad says he has to get back to work and Vienna finds his gloves. She asks why his job requires gloves. He lies and tells her he's going to try to own the network and asks her to leave before she blows his cover. After she leaves, a man approaches and asks Brad if it would be too much trouble to ask him to work. He says it wouldn't be any trouble at all, and then asks the man if it's time for a break!
Meg Confesses
At Java, Vienna and Brad are chatting when Jack shows up. Vienna excuses herself, and Brad reports to Jack that one of his officers illegally towed his car, but when Jack discovers that Brad parked in a handicap zone, he tells him it wasn't illegally towed. Brad begs Jack to get his car back for him and when Jack refuses to help him, Brad says he can't pay the fine. Jack suggests he go to Vienna for the money, and then realizes she doesn't know he's broke, so Jack tells Brad to get a job. He says no one is hiring then asks if he'll loan him the money to get his car out. He asks Brad to give him a minute, and then he gets up from the table and approaches Kim.
A while later, Kim approaches Brad and says Jack told her he was looking for work so she offers him a job at WOAK! Brad is excited and expresses he has many ideas, but Jack interrupts and says she needs someone to pull cables. He says he can't pull cables, but Jack testifies that he can. When Brad continues to refuse, Jack threatens to tell Vienna all about his financial problems. Kim excuses herself to check on her order. Before she goes, she tells Brad to think about her offer. Jack orders Brad to take the job. "That's blackmail," Brad says. "Okay, I can tell her you're broke or you're starting your career in television. It's your choice," Jack replies, referring to Vienna. He goes on to say he has to take the job or he won't be able to afford his rent at Emma's. "I don't think I want to be your brother anymore," Brad jokes. Jack laughs at his comment and Vienna emerges. Moments later, Kim comes back and asks Brad for the verdict. Brad accepts the job. She instructs him to tell the guard he wants to speak to Rebecca.
After Kim leaves, Vienna asks what up. Brad fills her in on his new job and says they'll have to take a raincheck on their date. She interrupts and says she doesn't do rain checks and cancels their date.
Jack makes an arrest!
Brad spills his beer all over a Katie's dress and as she gasps in shock, he apologizes. She is disgusted and tells him she's supposed to be standing by her sister's side but can't go in there now, smelling like a brewery! Brad doesn't appear very concerned but he manages to get some club soda for the stain. He promises that this will get the beer out of her dress, and then proceeds to spray Katie with it from head to toe! Katie screams as she's spritzed! Vienna comes by and wonders what's going on. She jokes that Katie must be flirting with Brad and tells the pair that she's leaving town so Katie can have Brad. This throws Katie into even more of a tizzy and she picks up a glass intent on hitting Brad over the head. From behind her, Henry grabs her just in time. He takes her to a table to calm down.
Brad and Vienna sit down and she explains that she needs a good reason to stay in town, otherwise she's gone. Brad offers her to come with him for a hot tub, and they flirt a little. She calls him a full service playmate and says if she were to stay in Oakdale she wouldn't want to get hurt. She says that Simon was special to her and she's not interested in anything along those lines.
Margo's Big Day
At the station, Katie informs Jack that she ran into Vienna at Lakeview, but when she starts to explain Vienna was with another loser he says he doesn't want to hear it. About that time, Brad arrives. "Well, speak of the devil," Katie says. "Oh, you two know each other. Is this the loser you were telling me about?" Jack solicits. He goes on to inform her that Brad's his brother. Brad asks to speak with Jack alone and asks Jack for money, so he gives him $20.
Craig and Meg Make Out!
At the Snyder farm, Brad informs Jack that he's been out looking for a job. Vienna comes downstairs with her bags. She asks Brad to take them to the car while she says goodbye to Jack. She says she's not angry, because she understands why he has asked her to leave, however, she advises him not to push the people that care about him away. Before leaving, she gives him a peck on the cheek.
Outside Lakeview, Vienna asks Brad to promise her he'll be nice to his brother. he says the way he sees it is he gives his brother back up. She says the two of them are very different. He says the difference is he always gives up on happiness, but he goes after what he wants. He hints to join her in her hotel room, so she asks him to join her. "I thought you'd never ask."
After Katie pays the bill, Brad comes to Vienna's side and asks Katie if she'd like to join them upstairs for a drink. "No. I may be alone, but it's much better than this," she replies. Vienna takes her room key from Brad and says she's tired, so she thinks she's going to turn in. "What?" Brad asks with confusion. "You just got shot down that's what," Katie says to him. Vienna explains that she just needs some time alone, and then she tells Katie goodnight and that she's really sorry. "What did you say to her?" Brad asks Katie. "The truth," she shrugs. "You know, when we first came in here I thought why is that beautiful woman sitting all by herself… now I know," he says as he walks away shaking his head.
