Oakdale Baby Crisis

Lily and Craig arrive at Dusty's office. Dusty tells Lily that her friends are working with growers who have many health code violations. Lily panics and wonders what she's going to do, but a calm Craig advises her to take care of her son while he handles the rest.

Gwen Uncovers the Truth About Iris

At Lakeview, Meg's phone rings. It's Paul ordering her to stay where she is until he gets there. "It's a matter of life or death," he adds. Once Meg hangs up the phone, she and Craig take a seat in the Lakeview dining room, and Meg explains the phone call to Craig. Craig advises Meg to cut off contact with Paul, but she disagrees and believes he has a legitimate reason for coming to see her today. He finally convinces her to take a walk with him and walk away from Paul. As they start to leave, Paul walks through the door with Ethan. Meg's shocked and demands to know what he's doing with Ethan. He explains his vision but she tells him he's gone too far this time. He hands Ethan over to Meg and asks her to take a look at him. Meg discovers there is something wrong with Ethan and the two of them rush the baby to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Craig steps into the lobby and phones Lily to report that Paul is at the Lakeview with Ethan. Lily asks him to keep Paul there until she arrives. Moments after he hangs up Meg rushes past him with Ethan and instructs him to call Lily and tell her to meet them at the hospital!

At the hospital, Meg hands Ethan over to a doctor. Moments after the doctor takes Ethan to care for him, Lily arrives with Craig and confronts Paul about taking her son. Meg interrupts and lets a very angry Lily know that Paul saved Ethan's life.

Sticking up for Family

At the Lakeview, Craig gives Meg a necklace, but she refuses the gift and tells him she hopes he chokes on his breakfast, and then runs out of the Lakeview dining room! Craig runs after her. Once he has her attention, he explains that the gift was just a friendly gift, but she doesn't believe him and says, "Men don't buy women jewelry to grow closer. They either do it to grease the slide or mark the conquest. That's it!" He admits it might have been too much too soon, but she retorts that he knew exactly what he was doing.

After a small argument over the necklace, Meg admits she likes him, but he jokes that she doesn't, because she dunks the jewelry he gives her in his coffee. She lays it all out on the table and lets him know that if they're going to be friends, talking about Paul is off limits! They go back into the Lakeview dining room to continue their breakfast date. Craig insists Meg try on the necklace. She hesitates but gives in. After he places it around her neck, she smiles and asks him how it looks. "Not as beautiful as you," he replies.

Okay, I Admit it… I'm a Hooker!

At World Wide, Craig chats with Lily while she prepares gift baskets. She reports that she's going to prove herself to her mother, but she's puzzled when he asks her not to mention his name. Soon after, he changes the subject to Meg. He claims he wants to help Meg, but he states she's hesitant. Lily advises him to be honest with her.

On Emma's way out, she runs into Craig. Craig lets her know what he thinks about what he just overheard. Emma's shocked and wants to know when he became such an expert on Meg's feelings. She listens as he explains that he was there when she lost her job. He goes on to say Meg deserves more credit than she's giving her, and then walks into the diner and takes a seat.

After Craig walks away, Emma sighs, and then wanders back into Al's to ask Meg's forgiveness. She tells her daughter she's proud of her and knows she made a mistake. She goes on to say when she decides to come back home, her room will be waiting for her. Meg smiles and thanks her mom with a hug.

After Emma leaves, Craig smiles and Meg greets him. After she takes his order, he points out her good mood and asks if her mother's to thank for that. When she starts to explain, she realizes that he knows why. "I have no idea what you're talking about," he replies with a devious grin. She picks up the menu from the table, hits him with it and retorts, "When will you get it? I want you to stop messing with my life." He admits he overheard some of what Emma said, and confesses that he told her he disagreed and stated his opinion. "Which is?" she inquires. "That you're very brave," he answers. She appreciates his impulse, but states that her work and family are off limits! After their little feud, she offers to treat him to breakfast and he accepts.

Henry and Vienna Make Love!

Outside Al's, Meg notifies Craig that her boss gave her a few days off, so she's going to use the extra time to move out of the Snyder farm. He offers to help her, but she refuses his help. He replies that they can get things done quicker if the two of them work together. When she gives in, he suggests they do it now so he can have his chef prepare dinner for them later. Reluctantly, she agrees.
