At Lakeview, Meg praises Craig for helping Lily. She goes on to say she knows he has a good heart and was there for her when she needed him, and then she adds that he was also there to rescue Lily when she needed him. Before she leaves, she presses a kiss on his cheek and says, "I'm glad you're my friend."
Dusty arrives and Lakeview to confront Craig, and demands that Craig show him the papers Lily signed. However, Craig doesn't produce the papers. Dusty lectures him and then leaves.
After Dusty leaves, Craig's attorney shows up and tells him that as soon as he signs the paper work the company's his, but Craig tells his attorney to hold off on filing the papers.
Back at the Snyder farm, Craig peeks in the window and observes a kiss between Meg and Paul.
At the Snyder farm, Craig presents Lily with some papers. "What are those?" she asks. "For the company, and the sick babies too," he answers. He continues to explain that if she signs them it will ease all her misery. She hesitates, but he slyly uses the need to pay settlements quickly to motivate her. She trusts his every word and signs the papers, without reading them first! After she signs the papers, she asks him to send her a copy and he promises he will.
Meg arrives at Lakeview and flatters Craig when she congratulates him on his generosity in helping Lily solve WorldWide's problems.
At WorldWide, a woman enters with news that more babies are arriving at the hospital and some of the families plan to sue. She goes on to say some of the babies may die and WorldWide could face criminal charges. Lily's horrified! The woman suggests that Lucinda be notified. After the woman leaves Lily heads for the phone, but Craig stops her. He doesn't think it's a good idea to call Lucinda, but she tells him she deserves to know that her grandson is sick. He advises her to go back to the hospital while he handles everything. Before she leaves, she writes down the access codes and passwords then hands them to him.
Once Lily's gone, Craig calls Roy and notifies him that he needs access to Roseanna's account! He argues with Roy that he has a right to her money and then says, "That's right. Make the arrangements and then call me back." Moments later Roy calls back, Craig thanks him and lets him know he has a good use for the money.
Once Susan leaves the room, Craig phones Lily to report that he's dealt with the lawsuit crisis by finding money to make a settlement. Lily's grateful and says she couldn't have gotten through it without him. "Oh Lily, it's like you said, we're family," he replies.
At the hospital, Bob lets Lily, Meg and Craig know that he put a rush on Ethan's blood work. He goes on to say he needs a list of everything Ethan has eaten in the last 24 hours. Lily writes down the list and hands it to him. After she hands him the list, she asks about Ethan's condition and Bob reports that his kidneys are shutting down. Meanwhile, outside Ethan's room, Paul fears all of Valley's Best Baby Food is tainted, and Meg asks a nurse to test the food. Afterwards, Meg and Paul tell Craig they're heading over to the farm to deliver the news to Parker and Faith.
Later, Craig approaches Lily and Holden to warn them that the press has been alerted. Holden advises Lily to check to see if any of the processing centers have had any prior violations, and he says if they have then she needs to shut them down immediately. The nurse interrupts to notify Lily that she has a phone call. It's Dusty requesting she come to his office to deal with the crisis.
