Craig shows up at Paul's and tells him the news about Lucy taking Johnny. He goes on to inform Paul that he's going to help him find them. Paul, showing Craig the door, says there's no way he would help him, but he would do anything to keep Johnny away from him. Craig instructs him he's going to do it, because he says he knows he switched the bullets in the gun. He goes on to say if he doesn't give him the information he wants he will call the police! Then he shows Paul the blanks from Dusty's gun, telling him they have his fingerprints all over them! Paul says he got him, but he still refuses to help. He tells Paul when he's in his cell he'll do everything to make sure Meg forgets him. Immediately, Paul grabs Craig pushing him up against the wall! Craig hollers out in pain! Paul shows him the door, but before he leaves, he warns Paul that when he sets him up for the fall he'll never see it coming. He goes on to say he'll get Lucy back. Paul replies she'll never be his daughter again. The most she'll ever be to him is his prisoner. "Happy landings," Craig smirks.
Meg meets with Craig and advises him to drop the charges against Dusty. "Maybe we can go bowling," Craig replies sarcastically." "Maybe you can get Dusty out of jail and then follow him right to Johnny," Meg suggests.
At Craig's, Craig continues shaking Lucinda demanding to know where Lucy is. When she defends herself, Margo walks in to find Craig on the floor. She asks where Lucy is. Craig says to ask Lucinda she knows. Lucinda tells Margo she went out. He orders her to arrest Lucinda, because she helped Lucy kidnap Johnny. Margo says she can't arrest her until they find out what's going on, so instead of arresting her she takes her to the station for questioning. Craig goes with them.
Craig, Margo and Lucinda arrive at the station. Upon arriving, Craig notices Barbara coming out from her visit with Dusty. He barges in demanding Dusty tell him where his children are! Craig says he knows where they are. He goes along saying sure he knows where they are and he's glad Lucy took him. Craig instructs Margo to continue to question him, because he knows more. He says he doesn't know a thing, but at least Johnny's safe.
During the argument, Lucinda comes in and informs them neither she nor Dusty had anything to do with it. She says Lucy has left Dusty too. She's taken Johnny far away and is never coming back. Margo says she's going to put out an APB.
Craig informs Margo that Lucy planned to kidnap Johnny. "She looked me right in the eye and she lied to me, and she was good at it," he says. "Hmm, I wonder where she learned that," Margo replies. He says he just wanted the three of them to be a family. Margo asks if he really knows how to do that.
"Oh, please, Margo don't talk down to me now."
"No, come on. No, look, look. Craig you push people in such a tight corner they have to come out swinging in order to survive, and if they do survive then--you certainly don't want to go back there. Look at your hit list. Barbara, Rosanna, Jennifer and now Dusty."
"I just want to love my son. I just want to love my children," he replies, holding back his emotions.
"Your expectations are just too high. Children are not put on this earth to meet such expectations."
"It doesn't matter now does it? They're gone and I'm paying the price. I'm all alone."
"No. No. Your not," Margo comforts.
Dr. Bob takes another look at Craig's gunshot wound and assures him its fine. He says Lucy told him it was infected. Suddenly, Craig leaves the hospital informing Dr. Bob that he has to go!
Later, Craig comes home shouting for Lucy. When he doesn't get a response, he picks up the phone. Lucinda comes out and informs him that Lucy is fine. He asks where she is. Lucinda says she took Johnny for a walk. He tells her she's lying. "Your right, I'm vamping. I'm buying time. Would you like to know why?" Craig answers, "I'm waiting. What did you say to Lucy?" Lucinda replies that she didn't have to say anything; she just listened. "I just listen to the PAIN in her voice when she talks about you." He claims he's never done anything to hurt his daughter. Taking her drink away, he orders her to get out of his house and stay away from his children! She shouts that he has no idea of the damage he inflicts on his children, and the "appalling" way that he's gone after Johnny! He reminds her that Johnny's his son. She informs him he's wrong. "He's a pawn. He's a trophy." Lucinda replies. She goes on to say he knows nothing about being a father.
As they continue to argue, Lucinda tells him that Lucy's eyes are open and he'll never be able to pull the wool over them again. He says it sounds like Lucy's already gone. She sighs. He demands to know where his children are! "What have you done?" he continues. She says she hasn't done anything, or maybe she has. She says maybe she done one thing… "Gave them a way out." "Where the h*** are my children?"
Back at Craig's, Lucinda answers, "Lucy and Johnny are gone, and they're never coming back. You will just have to learn to live with that."
"Where are they?" Craig questions again.
"I don't know. Lucy! Johnny!" Lucinda turns and shouts.
"Stop it! Where's my family?" Craig demands in anger.
"Family. You were a better family man when you were locked away in prison!"
"Tell me where my family is," Craig hassles, grabbing Lucinda and shaking her.
"They're some place where I hope you can't get to them. And you will NEVER see either of them again," Lucinda smiles.
Margo arrives at Craig's. She asks what Johnny's doing there. He says an overnight visit. When she asks him if Johnny will go back to Barbara's, he reveals that he obtained full custody and Lucy is moving in with them!
Lucy returns to Craig's place. He asks where she went. She says she went by her grandmother's to get some things. She goes on to say she misjudged him, and it was the biggest mistake of her life. He smiles, then gives her a hug. While hugging her, he hollers out in pain. She asks to look at his wound. While looking, she informs him that he's developing a bad infection and must return to the hospital right away! He says he'll be okay, but she insists he go, warning that if he puts it off the infection could spread quickly. She offers to stay with Johnny while his driver takes him to the hospital. He says they should just bundle Johnny up and go together. "No!" she answers quickly, confusing Craig. He wonders if Bob will make a house call. She says he needs to be at the hospital to have scans, IVs and etc. Finally, he agrees to go.
