At the hospital, Damian calls Lily and tells her that Noah has been moved out of the ICU. He's proud of how strong their son is. She's having his things unpacked as they speak. As they chat, Meg arrives and walks over to him. He gets off the phone and she warns him not to start playing house with Lily before he tells her the truth. She says Officer Grady could come back any time. He can't come clean right now because Luke and Noah need him. Meg thinks Lily will never forgive him if he moves in before telling her the truth. She offers to break the news herself. He forbids it. "You need to tell Lily the truth before something awful happens," she says.
Holden goes to the farm house and tells Meg that he and the kids are moving in. She tells him that neither of them wants Damian with Lily and he doesn't need to force the issue. He assumes she's made some sort of deal with Damian and angrily tells her that he won't allow this.
In the hall, Damian tells Lily how horrible he feels. She tells him he meant well and that's what matters. Noah's social worker arrives and they fill her in before she goes to see Noah. Lily promises Damian everything will work out and leaves to talk to the doctors. Meg returns and threatens to tell Lily the truth today. She can see how tired he is and wishes she could take care of him. He leads her away.
Meg takes Damian back to his place and offers to give him a back rub. He'd rather have her call Officer Grady. She says that won't work and promises that she will never turn her back on him. She backs him against the wall, locks the door, and asks him to show her how much he appreciates her. They kiss and tear off their clothes.
Meg follows Damian down the hall and warns him how hard this adoption would be for everyone. She asks him what will happen if the truth comes out about how he married Lily under false pretenses and brings up Officer Grady. He accuses her of trying to stop him from moving in with Lily. He thinks she is being petty. He returns to Luke and tells him the paperwork will be there soon. Bob comes back and says that the window of opportunity is closing. Damian explains that they are adopting Noah and gives their consent. Bob agrees to give the go ahead on the surgery.
Meg corners Damian and apologizes. He tells her he's not offended. She wants proof and kisses him.
In Damian's room, Meg hangs out in the closet and listens to Lily invite Damian to move in with her. She explains that she loves him and wants him to live with her. Lily wants them to have a proper start to their marriage. He's thrilled and promises to protect her. As they hug, he notices Meg standing there. She steps back into hiding and Damian tells Lily that she needs to talk to her family first to make sure they do this right. When Lily leaves, Holden calls her to the hospital. Back in the room, Damian grudgingly thanks Meg for being discrete. She tells him Officer Grady won't let the DNA thing go. Lily comes back and Meg ducks into hiding again. Lily tells Damian about the accident and they run off.
Luke returns to the hospital and tells his family how frustrated he is. Holden offers to call Bob. Meg sneaks Luke in to see his boyfriend. He apologizes for not trusting him and thanks him for always being there for him. "When someone comes in and tries to take away the one person you love more than anything, what are you supposed to do?" he says. Meg tells him he did the right thing and then leaves them alone. Luke tells Noah how much he loves him and then walks out to talk to Mason in the hall. "You broke my nose," Mason says. He threatens to sue him. Luke threatens him back and tells him to go far away. Mason points out that this is all Luke's fault and he'll have to live with it.
Meg and Holden talk in the corridor. He complains about Damian and how Lily always sees the best in him. "Even Lily has her limits," she says.
In his room, Damian kisses Meg and tells her she's precious. Her help keeping Grady away means a lot to him and he'd like to repay her. She asks him out for dinner. He already has plans but offers to rearrange after she utters a veiled threat.
