Henry meets his mother at Metro fresh from some 'private' shopping for Vienna. Audrey flashes the first check from James' estate. "Holy moley that's a lot of zeros!" he says. As he signs it over to Ralph, Barbara comes in and tells them not to get comfortable with their new wealth. She plans on contesting the will. Henry says he's giving the money to charity. Barbara doesn't buy it and leaves to check out their story. Audrey tells Henry he's going to have to stop her, 'by any means necessary'. The last time she said that, she was asking him to kill someone. She says he just needs to make a distraction this time, flashes the 'V' sign in his face and rushes him out the door.
Henry goes to see Barbara. She gives him one shot at a pitch. "Why are you so against me giving this money to charity?" he asks. She gets ready to call her lawyer to look into his 'charity' but he stops her and says that he wants her to let the money go the way he has. "James is dead for good this time and you don't have to live in his shadow," he suggests. She wants to use the money to set up a fund for Eliza. As she threatens to call her lawyer, he gulps but agrees on a 50/50 split. She shakes on it and he suggests they drink to it. When he pops the cork, it flies across the room and smashes her vase. She chases him out angrily and he leaves his bag behind.
Henry returns to Barbara's looking for his bag. "You certainly have chosen to spend your inheritance on some interesting purchases," she says, handing it to him. When he opens the bag, he can see that the gift is gone. "No way!" he gasps.
Barbara asks Margo why the police didn't order an autopsy for James. Barbara thinks there is foul play involved. Margo assures her that the police will take care of it, but Barbara thinks it is too late. Margo goes with Barbara to the funeral home and they are aghast to learn James was already embalmed. The funeral director informs them that Paul put in a special request to speed up the process.
Paul meets with a caterer to throw a party for James. He tells Emily he wants James in the ground and then to dance on his grave. Barbara barges in and tells Paul he has ruined any chance he had to get James's money. Paul doesn't care how James died, he just wants to celebrate that James is dead. Barbara thinks they deserve something for all the suffering James put them through.
Henry, Vienna and Audrey all arrive at the funeral home. Barbara, Paul and Emily show up to see if James is really dead. Barbara sticks a pin in James and Paul remarks, "He's really dead this time." No one wants to say anything nice about James, but Audrey puts on a show and cries over James's body while everyone looks on in horror. Barbara jumps up and orders her to stop because she killed him. A catfight escalates and Audrey says, "You really want to fight?" Barbara retorts, "Bring it!" The two fist fight over James's coffin as Paul laughs in the background! They eventually are torn apart and Audrey calls the attorney and says, "It's show time."
Vienna and Henry go to Fairwinds. Paul makes a toast to the demise of James Stenbeck. Barbara thinks the worst thing James ever did was try to make Paul hate her. Emily thinks James would have killed her if Paul had not saved her. Audrey enters with the attorney for the reading of the will. The will leaves everything to Henry. Paul states he hopes he will be happy with it. Barbara claims it won't hold up in court. After the Coleman clan leaves, Paul asserts that Emily is the most important thing in the world to him. An angry Barbara storms off. Paul asks if Emily is finally agreeing to marry him. Emily tells him she was so impressed that he didn't go after the money and the curse is over. She agrees to marry him!
Barbara sees Audrey crying in the Lakeview. Audrey informs her that the magnificent man is dead and runs away! Audrey goes back to her suite and orders the attorney to stick to their bargain. As she is untying him, Barbara bangs on the door. Barbara convinces a housekeeper to let her in. She walks in as Audrey is untying the attorney and remarks, "What an interesting way to mourn the dead!" As the attorney leaves, Audrey tells Barbara she and James had an open relationship. Barbara tells her she knows she is desperate to get her hands on James's money. Barbara realizes James didn't have a chance to change the will. Barbara warns her she won't get away with what she did!
Barbara barges into Fairwinds to find a half naked Paul and Emily. Although horrified, she tells Paul that James is dead, but the will was not changed. Paul kisses Emily and tells Barbara he has everything he wants. Barbara wants him to go to the hospital and he agrees.
Barbara goes back to Audrey's suite and tells her she will prove what she did to James. Audrey tells her there is nothing to prove, but Barbara tells her she ordered an autopsy and leaves.
