You Lied.

Paul rushes to his mother's room and asks her where his father's 'science experiment' is. He waves his gun and vows that he is going to get rid of James for good. He threatens to shoot her if she sides with James over him again. She tells him that Mick must be in the church. After Paul runs off, Henry runs in, still wearing his hospital gown. He pulls on a sheet and warns her about Mick. She already knows. "Mick is James," she insists. Henry stutters and asks her if she's been hitting the schnapps. She insists that he's back to make things up to everyone. Barbara adds that she's been taking the anti-aging treatments for both of their sakes. He's confused. She tells him that their time together was what she needed; he proved that her life isn't over. Since she felt that she couldn't compete with Vienna or Katie, she wanted to try to be younger. Henry tells her she only needs to be who she is and says she's 'sexy as hell'. She asks him to be his date to Casey and Alison's wedding. He says he's already going with Katie.

Alison is with Mick in the church tower. He explains that he doesn't want to hurt anyone but James is in his head and he can't fight him off. When he tries to resist him, he gets nosebleeds. He says that James took him in and looked after him. James saved him from a life on the streets and the only thing he had to do in exchange was come back and get revenge on Paul. Ali decides that helping him has been a big mistake. He thinks that they are fated to be together. Sitting down, he explains more about James and the things he asked him to do. When he began to doubt James' ways, James brainwashed him and began implanting his thoughts in his brain. He never wanted to fight that until he met her. She suggests he turn himself in but he refuses. Alison tells him again that she belongs with Casey, not him; she just has to make sure he doesn't hurt anyone. They hear Paul screaming for Mick downstairs. Alison runs down and tells him that having a gun in church isn't right. Paul rants and demands to know where Mick is. She tells him that he's gone. Paul tells her that he won't hurt anyone again and offers to take her home. She says she'll be fine. As soon as he leaves, Mick comes out of hiding. "You lied. We both know why," he says. She can't hide him but she can't walk away. He takes her hand and asks her to leave with him. She can't do that. Mick is sure it is the only way he can finally be free of James. He asks her to be honest with herself and admit that she slept with him because she doesn't really want Casey. She orders him to go. He pulls her into a kiss. She runs away.

Emily returns home and finds Paul sitting with his gun. He tells her that he saw Ali and he's going to wipe Mick off the face of the earth. Since his DNA proves he's a dead man, they can't prosecute him for shooting him. When he heads for the door, she stops him and tells him that he is doing exactly what his father would want him to do. She talks him into handing over the gun. After she locks in the safe, she tells him that she believes in them.

You Sir Are No James Stenbeck.

At Fairwinds, Paul and Emily are shocked when the lab test come back saying that Mick is really James. She finds this hard to believe but he's sure death wouldn't stop his father from pulling something like this.

Paul rushes into the station looking for Mick. Margo asks him how long he's been claiming to be James. She needs proof that Mick actually committed a crime if she's going to lock him up. She lets Paul go in and see Mick, but she makes him go in with a guard supervising. "What took so long, son?" Mick says as Paul comes in. He wants this to be a rebirth of their father-son relationship. Paul still thinks that he's a conman and warns him not to ruin things between Casey and Alison. Mick's nose begins bleeding. He collapses on the floor.

At the hospital, Casey tells Ali that he knows she's been pacing around at night and worries. She assures him that he is everything she wants. Emily comes in and asks for some girl time. He leaves and Emily shows her sister the test results. Ali freaks out when she reads them. Casey runs in after she yowls. Ali says it's nothing she's just nervous about shopping. After he leaves, Emily tells her that this is for real and she needs to watch her back. Alison goes into denial. After Emily leaves, Mick is wheeled in by some EMTs. Emily takes him into an examining room and sends Paul out. Eventually, Mick opens his eyes. She admits to him that she feels like they are connected but she doesn't understand why. Regardless of the evidence, she knows that he's not James. She begs him to fight against the thing which is ripping him apart. He promises not to give up. When the guard comes in, Mick leaps up and knocks him out. "Come with me?" Mick asks her.

Paul returns to Fairwinds and tells Emily what happened with Mick. He feels like he's being haunted by his father all over again. When James died, he felt liberated, but that's gone now. "You are your own man," Emily says. She walks off when Eliza starts crying. He calls the hospital to check on Mick and is shocked to discover he's escaped. Paul grabs his gun and leaves.

You Just Look Like A Fool.

At Fairwinds, Paul doesn't know how to respond when Barbara tells him that Mick is really James. "This is the best that you could come up with?" Paul asks before bursting out laughing. Mick claims he can reverse the aging process and says he is there to reverse the damage James did. Paul grabs Mick and punches him to the floor. He accuses him of being a conman and tells him he's sick. Paul orders him out. Barbara asks him to let Mick prove himself. Mick tries making the case that he is James and tells Paul how hard it was to be on his deathbed knowing that his son wanted him there. Emily has called the cops. They come in and arrest Mick. As he's taken away, Paul yanks out some of his hair. Barbara tells Emily that she just lost her last chance at getting pregnant. Emily wants to warn Alison. Paul vows that Mick will pay for this. He asks his mother how long she's been in on this and threatens to have her thrown in jail. Paul can't believe how naïve his mother is being. Barbara claims the treatments are working but her son says, "You're older now than when you met Mick and I'm poorer now... To me, you just look like a fool."

Emily returns to Fairwinds. She and Paul talk about what's happened. He wonders if his father could have planned something like this. When he tells her it's all over, she's skeptical. She wonders if there is anyway what Mick claims is true. He decides to have the hair he tore out of Mick tested. Emily begins crying as she realizes that they can never have a baby. He says that they can figure something out... and they still have each other.

Because He's Your Father.

At Fairwinds, Emily and Paul try to unravel how Mick has been brainwashing her into wanting to have a child with him. She suddenly remembers confronting him in the church tower and gasps. She explains that he's the one who put her in a coma. They wonder what Mick has been using her for. She remembers that Mick had lots of photos of Paul and she went to confront him about it. He admitted that he's not Mick Dante, so they wonder who he could really be... Paul rants about him and blurts out, "I've been dealing with guys like him my whole life!" Hugging her, he vows to put an end to Mick once and for all.
