At the hospital, Luke tells Noah how sorry he is that they fought. He wishes he had more faith in them and needs him to wake up. Holden and Meg come in and Luke wishes Noah's aunt would call. Bob follows them and tells them that Noah's brain is still bleeding and there could be serious damage if they don't operate soon.
Meg follows Damian down the hall and warns him how hard this adoption would be for everyone. She asks him what will happen if the truth comes out about how he married Lily under false pretenses and brings up Officer Grady. He accuses her of trying to stop him from moving in with Lily. He thinks she is being petty. He returns to Luke and tells him the paperwork will be there soon. Bob comes back and says that the window of opportunity is closing. Damian explains that they are adopting Noah and gives their consent. Bob agrees to give the go ahead on the surgery.
The Fountain Of Youth.
Alison goes back to the hospital and asks Bob if there was any reason why he chose not to meet with Mick. He had an emergency and has no idea who Mick is. She tells him she's glad he's back on the job. He thanks her and they chat about Casey.
I Hate Goodbyes.
Bob finds Katie freaking out in Brad's hospital room. He explains that Brad was shot and the next few hours will be critical. They've repaired all the damage they can and the rest will be up to him. She knows that when a doctor says they've done all they can, there's bad news coming. Crying, she wonders if Brad even knows he has a son. Bob reminds her that she just gave birth in a less than perfect environment and needs some rest herself. She begs him not to let Brad die. Bob reluctantly leaves her alone with her husband. Katie tells him that they have a beautiful baby boy who needs him around so he can learn right from wrong. "He needs you. I need you," she cries. As she weeps on his chest, he touches her face and opens his eyes. "You're alive!" she exclaims. "I guess so," he says. He's eager to see the baby. They tell each other how brave they are and she says that his spirit was with her when she gave birth. When she tells him she lost the necklace, he tells her it's in the drawer. Finding it led him to her. She puts it back on and tells him that their son saved her life. As he's about to suggest a baby name, he flatlines.
Bob and Kim watch them through the glass. "Aren't you supposed to be recuperating yourself?" she asks him. He didn't want to miss anything. She begs him not to overdo it.
Henry runs around the hospital looking for Katie. Breathlessly, he tells Bob that Katie's gone. Bob tells him that she's with Brad and he's alive. Henry begins hugging him.
Margo Finally Tells Tom The Truth About Adam!
Tom and Kim wait at Bob's bedside. Kim cries that she wants her husband back. Tom wishes they had known about it sooner and blames Alison. Kim reminds him Alison came to all of them and he has to let it go, but Tom won't. Tom admits he is also upset about Riley's presence in Margo's life. Kim begs him to go home and be honest with Margo.
As Kim cries at Bob's bedside, he wakes up and tells her he needs her! He then tells her the hospital is boring him silly. Kim cries tears of joy and kisses him.
Bob Has A Brain Tumor!
Casey demands to know what is going on between Riley and Alison. A frantic Alison interrupts and asks for help with Bob. Casey and Riley take off to meet her and see a collapsed Bob. As the paramedics transfer Bob, a tearful Alison tells Riley she could have stopped this from happening!
Tom tells a sleeping Bob that he is so angry at him for keeping his health problem a secret. He tearfully begs Bob to come back to them.
