I was watching the previews yesterday and the nurse said to Alison that it might be very difficult for you to have a child. I'm wondering if that has anything to do because she was poisoned and it had some lasting effect on her uterus? It's just a thought.

The PID VERY likely comes from her time in the porn industry and the drugs she was doing. I suspect they're doing this A) because it is actually a very real possibility for someone with her history and B) to make her pregnancy a joyful event only to be overshadowed by the reality of the paternity. But then B may not happen if Chris is leaving the show, kinda ruins the fun if you don't have all those males puffing their chests.

I wonder if Alison gave Chris or Aaron any STD's. Especially Aaron. I presume they didn't have protected sex since they were trying to have a baby, but again if Alison did have gonnerea and caught it in time she could take medication that would cure it and that way it wouldn't spread.

I think the writers are playing us stupid, Allison was given a clean bill of health to be an egg donor for Will and Gwyn. (this was after she returned to town from her porn and drug days) So how can they now expect us and her and Chris to believe that this problem is going to stem from her Vegas days? Sorry, I am not buying this at all.

At least this exam eliminates the possibility of her being pregnant NOW, no storyline of Who's my baby's daddy. (Thank God!)

I don't know a lot about PID but it can be from the chlymidia or gonnorhea bacteria. You don't have to have a full blown case of either. It can also be fungal or viral but is usually bacteria. If it is caught early it doesn't have to effect the tubes or ovaries. If it does effect the tubes a woman who is free of infection can get pregnant by in vitro and carry the baby full term. Did Allison pass the disease on? We will probably see Aaron finding out somehow that Chris taking an antibiotic also and put 2 & 2 together!!

Actually I forgot that Alison was an egg donor for Gwenn and her husband. I'm thinking that writer's do that so most of the viewers would not remember. I mean I forgot. The only explanation is that the writers are running out of s/lines.

It could be from more recent sexual contact. Almost seems like it would have to be. The doc said her tubes were slightly swollen. If this had been around longer, wouldn't she have more symptoms?
Hmmm. That's something to think about. Where have Chris & Aaron been? Did Chris sleep with Emily? Oh what a mess that would be!!

I wasn't even thinking about that, but Chris could of got something from Emily and or Aaron could of slept with Sophie and or someone else and got it. That makes sense, but I don't think the writers are going to invest on a s/l trying to figure out if it was Chris and or Aaron that had spread it to Alison.

So this is a real s/l....not something someone thinks might happen. Have the doctors on the soap actually said she has and STD????

the dr said yesterday that she does have pid that could have been thru a std. I bet anything it is from her porn days. the pad thing about pid is that they are no symtoms. I don't think it is somehting that Chris gave her she is to far in with damage scare tissue ect... its from her porn days coming back to bite her in the rear end. But she can get prego she would just have to do invitro.
