I'm sick and tired of everyone coming down so hard on Parker like he's some type of love-sick, sex-crazed degenerate! Liberty is the real problem to me here. She's messed around and gotten herself spazzed out on weed brownies, and now, Brad is going to accuse Parker of rape. Parker has saved her butt once from Leo, and it looks like he is going to try and help her out again, only to be misinterpreted by Officer Daddy. They owe that boy an apology and a sundae, not a rape charge. Brad seems to have transferred his own arrogance over to Libby, because he seems to think that Parker is sooo intent on laying her. No girl is worth all that trouble, and this is coming from a woman! It looks like Libs actually turned Parker onto the hokey-pokey, not the other way around. Get over her, and get a nice girl. Looks like Libs is a chip off the old block!

I'm just watching now, so those are weed brownies. I thought that they were pumped of ruffies. Leo is a boy that should be pummeled. Parker does deserve a cookie, not a rape charge. I guess I need to finish watching before I shoot my mouth off even more.

I think Liberty was an idiot to eat those brownies. I wouln't trust that Leo as far as you could throw him. He's the real culprit here and Lib was too nieve to say no? GMAB! She's causing all the problems. I think it's best if Parker stays away from Lib altogether cause she is playing with his mind, but I have to say that it seems like those brownies took over her mind and body. I hope they don't blame Parker for rape. That Leo dude needs to be kicked around a few times. It's obvious he didn't learn his lesson when Parker punched him.

I've been thinking about this. I think with as screwed up as his parental figures have been he is looking for love and stability of his own. He has been rejected, abandoned watched his mom and Jack split, reunite, fight, split reunite, fight and on and on. He has been forced to grow up faster than normal with the murder charge, the running away etc...Now he meets Liberty. She is a free spirit. She is a normal rebellious teen. She does something normal but chooses Parker to do it with. She is overwhelmed because Parker is ready to basically get married and have his own little family that no one can break.

Liberty with the brownies, that was stupid....but she is 16. Heck she was niave enough to tell Leo that she got in trouble because she had sex. Of course she was going to believe him and accept the brownies. She wants to find the good in people and believe them.

In short, Parker is too jaded, Liberty is too trusting. They need to share some of these qualities with each other. If only it were that easy.

Beautifully stated, PT! I don't think a lot of people are taking Parker's history into consideration. With a mom like Carly...and Jacket (Jack+Janet) shacking up, Officer Snyder is no angel either. Throw in numerous divorces and infidelities, a few criminal charges, runaways, and kidnappings, and it's no wonder that he's so into Libbs. I think he identifies with her (she probably reminds him of mom Carly with her free-spirit). Unfortunately, Brad treats Liberty like some chaste angel. That girl was all over him today in the woods, wanting to be alone and make out. He asked her what was up with the mixed signals, and she told him to call her when he grew up. Now, I don't know about drugs, but I don't think the brownies made her horny. She wanted to neck, he declined and left, and she passed out. Why does Brad think his daughter is SO hot and irresistable, and Parker is SO desperate and depraved that he just HAD to rape her?? What an egomaniac! Liberty give Parker mixed messages all the time. Girls like that get a reputation, and guys like Leo want to take advantage. He should question that anonymous call, and Parker should give her the cold shoulder.
