Quote Jags Fan: I guess you missed the scene on the bed with their shirts off trying suck each others tongues out. No matter what ATWT does they are going to make someone mad, because you can't please all the people all the time. I hate it when they show that on tv and believe me I use my fast forward button, you can't even see the little white arrows on it anymore I've used it so much. It's life style I think is wrong and just not right, if for no other reason that the pure physicality aspect of it. I just can't wrap my brain around how all that works and who does what. I was thinking of that awful scene when they were kissing today. YUK!! I can't wrap my brain around it either and besides u can't get AIDS and DIE from that lifestyle!! God meant for man/woman to be together, not man/man or woman/woman. I can imagine what He thinks when He looks down on what He created!! He must be mortified. |

Quote Buffyfan428: Quote Jags Fan: I guess you missed the scene on the bed with their shirts off trying suck each others tongues out. Hmm, if you're referring to the scene I think you're referring to, Luke and Noah weren't shirtless. The only time they were on the bed shirtless they were interrupted before they could kiss or go even further by the ICE, so I guess I did miss that scene because it doesn't exist! There was another scene later where they were on the bed and kissing, but there shirts were both on and I would hardly call it trying to "suck each other's tongues out". Maybe passionate kissing, but it was appropriate for the scene and the events going on (They thought Ameera was gone and they could finally be together after hiding and lying for so long. You'd be excited too!). Why do some opposers of Luke and Noah (gay s/l's on TV in general) always say they're being force-fed the gay plot/gay lifestyle. CBS, first of all, isn't forcing you to watch anything. Unless CBS has developed some kind of mind-controlling technology or you're a quadriplegic living alone, you are perfectly capable of changing the channel. It is for entertainment and as another person said a portrayal of another kind of lifestyle, and if you are not entertained by it to the point of disgust or discomfort I would logically suggest not watching it. Second of all, ATWT isn't "forcing" you to accept gays/gay s/l's any more than they're "forcing" you to accept muder, rape, adultery, thievery and the other FAR more prevelant aspects of the show. CBS didn't say, "Let's put in a gay s/l to make those straight people mad, or make them change their minds!" They probably did it to get more of a diverse audience which I'm confident in saying they have thanks to NUKE. So for those certain "force-fed" people, don't flatter yourselves. And I agree, I respect everyone's opinions but we don't need a thread on this every time Luke and Noah have an episode. They were sucking tongue alright, I remember that scene but what does being shirtless or not have to do w/it? What does it matter if ppl start a thread or not? If they feel the need to express their opinions then they should. Who is anybody to tell them not to start another thread? |

God meant for man/woman to be together, not man/man or woman/woman. I can imagine what He thinks when He looks down on what He created!! He must be mortified. First, this is not the only way you can get HIV which leads to AIDS. There are several other ways that the virus can enter your system. People today that are infected with HIV have been able to have a quality of life. It is no longer the immediate death sentance that it once was. If someone has AIDS or even HIV, it really isn't fair to just assume that they are gay. That is ridiculous. Second, not all men or women who are gay have intercourse that can lead to infection. There are many ways that couples show their love. Besides, it is an infection that is passed through blood. So, a married woman could contract it from just putting a bandaid on an infected kid in the playground. That is why doctors and nurses wear gloves for all people. That is why after a rape victims are given treatment for HIV, that is why alot of changes have been made everywhere, hospitals, schools, doctor offices. Besides, even if a homosexual couple did have intercourse in that manner, there is protection. That is what condoms are for. My point - you don't die from the "lifestyle". Every gay person does not die from AIDS. Calling it a lifestyle imo is silly. The only thing different between homosexuals and heterosexuals is that they love different than heterosexuals. They go to movies, they go to dinner, they go to church, they go shopping, the "lifestyle" isn't really different. You speak of God as if everyone believes in him. Not everyone does. I, personally, don't get offended when people automatically assume that I am a lesser person that they are because of this belief. Personally, I think God would be more offended by violators of his commandments before something that was not even engraved in the rules on the rock. *picking up soap box and walking away* |

If they feel the need to express their opinions then they should. Who is anybody to tell them not to start another thread? So, ok, let's go with sucking tounge. BIG DEAL. Most couples on this show do a whole lot worse. Anybody can start a thread about anything as long as it is within guidelines. I think what Willow and Val were trying to say (correct me if I am wrong) is that all of this has already been on the board over and over again. But, we have some new posters, and some old posters that want to share their opinion. No big deal. |

If they feel the need to express their opinions then they should. Who is anybody to tell them not to start another thread? I was correcting another poster who said in one scene they were making out shirtless on the bed, because they weren't in the scene he/she's talking about. I wasn't just randomly bringing it up. And I'm not saying people can't express their opinions, it's just that this same thread appears on the board practically every time Luke and Noah appear in an episode. I personally don't like the underage sex thing going on wit Parker and Libs, but I don't feel compelled to come on here and complain about it everytime they appear. But as Plot said, there are new users a lot of the time. It's just irritating seeing this over and over again, and this has been said by both people who don't like Nuke and people who do. I fully appreciate everyone's opinions, and I think it's interesting to view things from other people's perspectives. |

I know a good way to stop people from ever starting another "Nuke has to GO!" thread. Let nuke go away to San Francisco and never come back to Oakdale. I mean they don't have to go to San Francisco just leave Oakdale. If you want to stop the threads then give the people what they want. |

Ahhhh, but then we would have a bunch of posts about how CBS/ATWT wussed out and should have NUKE back on. I know they have alot of supporters. Would love to know the percentage split. |

You know I am sick and tired of reading these comments! Granted it was my fault for even coming this blasted post but I just had to say something and that is it! Normally, I just let these comments go because hey I find them petty but I just endure some real life nastiness today and I am "hot under the collar"! THIS IS A SOAP OPERA! These are characters on a soap opera so I respect people's right to like/dislike them! No skin off my nose! But when I read stuff like "I don't mind gays but..." or drivel like that it sounds like the p.c. b.s. that I hear all the time! Don't say you have no problem with gays and then in the next sentence write but don't put it on my screen! It's condescending! FF the darn scene! GET OVER IT! This is a part of the show! These posts and comments are EXHAUSTING! So what are the writers supposed to write about? Only the topics that deal with heterosexual couples? Please! If this is going to get me banned then so be it! Luke and Noah are just fine! So what if they show affection? And? |

I know a lot of ignorant bigots like to insist that some particular sex act gives you AIDS, but they are wrong. And if Emily-call-girl and Allie-porn-star don't have HIV, then I guess nobody does. |

Never have I asked anyone's permission to be gay and I never will. There are many other options for people to watch if they don't want to see gay characters on a TV show. But to get so worked up about it! Hey - I'd LOVE to see Meg and Paul move far far away, but do I constantly post about it? I just hit that FF button every day. |

General Hospital did an excellent s/l on it yrs ago. I am also aware they don't have a death sentence. God is completely against this lifestyle if u read the Bible. Remember Sodom/Gomorra (sp?)? And as I already stated God meant for man/woman to be together, hence Adam/Eve when he created the world. He didn't mean man/man, woman/woman!! That is why he made our bodies the way he did, b/c men and women fit together naturally. |
