I think there are alot of problems with this relationship? What do you think?

What I like about the storyline is that it is incredibly well acted. The actors who portray Casey, Emily and Margo are incredibly talented. Scott Holmes, who portrays Tom, hasn't really been at his best lately...but still better than some of the other actors on the show. I can't see Dusty coming back without some BIG emotional implications for Emily. When he "died" they were stil very much in love. If the writers don't address that, I'd feel cheated. I think Casey and Emily are a pretty good short term story, but I can't see it lasting long term. Hopefully, though they stop making Emily go insane because she's turning into a likable character.

As for the Emily/Casey/Margo/Tom angle of the story...I'd like for Tom to just once tell Margo to get over it about Emily or else throw up all of her indescretions in her face too. Aside from the men she has been involved with, she lies to him about every other day. She should be lucky he's still around.

I think they are hot together! I completely buy it! Much more than I did with Dusty and teenybopper Lucy.

Emily just plain bugs me so... ick! But not ick because of the age thing...just because of her, if it was someone else I'd be all for it! Plus....she's mean to him, and I like him!

I think that Emily is far too unstable for a relationship with Casey. He hasn't had many intense relationships, so this feels like the real thing to him, but Emily has a lot of stamps on her emotional passport. I think that with all of her baggage, he is setting himself up to be hurt. Emily seems to only be happy when some guy is treating her like trash. Casey is really good to her - understanding, attentive, and totally devoted. She tends to not do well with nice guys, so it'll never work.

Even though I love Casey and Em together. It's not gonna workout long term. She only likes guy's that treat her like trash and when they're nice she walks all over them. That's what it was like when she was with Chris. Then when he didn't want her she wanted him back. Go figure??? I guess that's human nature.

I adore Casey, and do like him and Emily as a couple. I think Emily really does love Casey, but I too believe that she and Dusty were very much in love when he "died." Hopefully the writers will address the unresolved feelings between them when Dusty returns.

Their May/December romance won't last, too much of an age difference. It may not matter to them now, but it will down the road. (talking from experience)

I see it lasting since everyone believes it won't & the fact that Dusty is coming back makes everyone even more sure it won't so I think the opposite will happen!

Sure Em & Dusty will be alot of drama to play out but that will only make them stronger because all that will be is ANGST for them as a couple & these obstacles will only make them stronger!

I can see Casey thinking he will lose Emily when they learn Dusty is alive but I think TPTB are pleasently surprised with how popular they have become & you don't throw that type of chemistry away!

Dusty was what came between Chris and Emily and Dusty will be what comes between Casey and Emily. There is no way this cougar story is going to make it to Thanksgiving, probably won't make it to Halloween.
