She's been married for 25 years and she was no teenager when she married Tom! You're being logical. Ya can't be logical where soaps are concerned. During the Lily/Rose SL, Lily's birthdate was given as Sept 1970, making her 38 next month. But was she 20 when she had Luke? Don't think so. She'd already been around the block with Holden, Dusty, Caleb, married to Derek, went missing, came back as another actress, married Holden, got pregnant, had a miscarriage, Holden got mugged, had amnesia, didn't care to remember Lily, they divorced, she went to Europe, came back married to Damien, got pregnant and had Luke all by the time she was 20? All of this actually took about 10 years since Luke was born in '95. In real time Dani is 12 years older than Allison, but Allie's been aged up and looks Dani's been aged down. Anyway - bet she causes trouble for the Stewart women! Yeah, 43 almost 44. In August of 82 she swore to James she was 18 (in a moment of conscience he was worried that she was not legal age for their "carrying on"). She claimed she'd "just past her 18th birthday". She married Tom the next year---much to Lyla's chagrin---after a great series of adventures with Tom and Mr.Big. Ahhh....the good ol' days! Since they did the whole 25th anniversary thing, I think they're sticking with her real age. The writers have added about 5 years to Casey though....Casey was born in 1991 after Lyla's husband Casey Peretti died; Margo touchingly named him after her stepfather. By the way, Katie was a baby (less than 2 years old) when Casey was born. Katie should be 19 (and she's been married 4 or 5 times??) soapland.... |

Don't wanna quibble, but according to wikipedia, Margot is 53, which makes more sense to me. Tom was born in 1961, but was grown up enough to go to Vietnam and father Lien by 1972. But anyway - Adam was born in 1988 and Casey in 1991 and they're definitely older. Katie was born in 1989, but when she returned to town as a "grown-up". Adam was still in his early teens! One must ignore reality and history -- after all, the writers sure do! |

I love Dani she fits right in and I'd love to see a romance between her and Casey. I think they could be the next Holden and Lily besides Casey needs to get away from Emily that just ain't a good pairing. |

Sorry but it appears that from how I see this being written Casey is genuinely in love with Emily & I don't see Dani being able to change that with how they are writing Casey to be so passionate about his love for Em! It looks like they will have OUTSIDE forces try to tear them apart & Em's insecurities will play into it but when everyone around them is going on & on about how a couple is just not meant to be or last, it's obvious that the opposite will happen! I do NOT like Dani, she is a twofaced little troublemaker saying one thing to Em & another to Susan, so it looks to me like she will be used as a foil in their relationship as well as probably Chris & Ali's since I read that she may be paired with Chris! They are obviously gearing it to have Casey & Em be the couple to root for since everyone is against them & predicting it won't last, so the writer's want to fans to root for them TO make it despite what everyone says! |

I am not fond of Meg Ryan anyway so when Lindsay replaced her on ATWT I fell in love w/her right away. I don't think I'd watched that s/l long b4 that happened. |

Okay am I the only who can see a Chris and Dani romance on the horizon? Please it is so obvious, Dani is in a type of medical related job, Chris is a doctor, their both close in age, it's perfect. Now that it has become clear that Allison is moving closer to Aaron that leaves Chris without a honey bunny. I say let the romance begin! |

My goodness that was such a long time ago!!!! I've watched for 40 years. Actually, I remember all this and I also used to make notes (even from updates I read when I am unable to watch). When I was a little girl, I made notes for 15+ years because I wanted to be a writer for the show. hehehe. LOL!! Like knowing the show history or genealogy would be important  There are also a lot of places you can go and get history info: Soapcentral is more accurate than Wiki and old tapes or youtube can fill in if you miss episodes. BTW: The quads are 2 boys and 2 girls born to Annie and her husband Jeff Ward (former hospital chief). They are a few months older than Dani---well, when they were born, anyway. The President (Ronald Reagan) actually called and congratulated them when the quads were born (at least, I think it was really Ronnie). They named one girl Nancy, for NHughes and NReagan. Ahhhhhh |

Anyway - Susan was a Burke before her marriage, and I think she and her daughters have some bad Burke blood. No fair blaming the "Stewart women" for all those messy relationships. |

Great Post. I agree that I think that Casey is genuinely in love with Emily. I hope they don't break up. They've been through so much. I think Dani will be an interesting charcter and I'll think she'll try to break them up and then Casey will hopefully tell her to get lost. Casey and Emily have the greatest chemistry I've seen so far on this soap. I hope they don't start seeing different people. |
