Carly's Attitude Toward Luke

Meanwhile, she was probably thinking, "he would like ME in that better"! Ok I'm ranting here...but I have always felt That Carly comes across so irritatingly self rightous! There are people that feel bad for Carly, but I don't, she put herself in that situation. I did feel bad for her when I thought she was dying and then she found out she wasn't and didn't tell anyone except for Brad and Lily. I was mad at her. She doesn't learn. I actually have found myself rooting for her (carly) plenty of times....she has a great ability to turn her character around and make me like her...love her even, (jack w/ amnesia comes to mind) but she can play the woe is me, self rightous, victim role, and make me hate her too. And that is where I am at right now! Yes, there are times when I like her to, but right know isn't one of them. I really want Lily to stick it to her...but in a strong woman kinda way! |

Actually I didn't see anything wrong with the attitude of either. Luke gave her an attitude about being there and why wouldn't he? She gave him one back letting him know she didn't want to be there herself! Lukes not 10, he's an adult. It's not like she said this to Faith. |

But you gotta admit...more than a little disrespectful on her end...she had to know the kids might be mad. And I don't think it's right to walk into someones home that you have betrayed, (and her kid knows) and not take whatever is being dished out to you. Esp. when your there to get the betrayed to forgive her husband??? |

No, of course she shouldn't have gone but this is Carly so, of course, she went. Being as she did I thought the exchange between she & Luke was pretty real sounding. |

No matter how the adults feel about each other in this situation, Lily & Holden's children (including Luke) are the innocents here. Carly could have easily taken a conciliatory tone with Luke. When he said, "You have no right to be here." She could have replied, "You may be right, but Emma asked me to come. May I speak to your mother, please?" For Carly to speak to any of their children (adult or not) in the tone she took with Luke was just wrong. |

Carly: Well Luke, frankly I don't want to be and yet here I am. I guess we all have to suffer. Where's your mother? She has a lot of nerve. What exactly did Luke do to her? Once again, she makes herself out to be the victim. UGH!!!! And seriously... when were Carly and Emma ever friends?! I agree with what everyone says about Luke having the right to be angry with Carly and give her attitude, and there's no denying what she did was wrong. I do think Lily is being a little hypocritical about the affair, and do think this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black. That doesn't justify what Holden did, but Lily cheated before too so she shouldn't act like the helpless victim. What everyone has to remember is that Carly was trying to stay away from Holden and Lily and just move on with her life, but then Emma shows up at her door and asks her to talk to Lily. Of course no one can EVER say no to Emma, so Carly had to go there against her will. Naturally, when Luke opens the door and gives her attitude, she said what she was thinking, "I don't even want to be here, so I'm not going to take your s hit" If Luke and Lily are going to give anyone attitude it should be Emma because she can't leave things be. She's so nosy and intrusive. And Holden deserves most of the blame Carly's been taking by herself. Carly has been trying to move on but Emma and Holden won't let her. |

I'm sorry but Dusty had no wife waiting at home, and further more, Holden called her a liar and said that no matter what she did he wouldn't reconcile their relationship and served her with divorce papers! Totally different. And she wasn't sleeping with two men at the same time, Holden wasn't lied to! |

I agree I love Carly and think her and holden should end up togather.She deserves someone good just like ever body else.Her and Holden was'nt looking for the connection it was just there.And boy do they look good togather Lilly needs to get off her high horse and get over it!!She did'nt want Holden when Dusty was still on the show so why now after she walked out on her family and husband what did she exspect him to do?Sit around and wait on her?WHY!! |
