As the World Turns - MESSAGE BOARDS

Of all of the Adults that have talked to these kids, surprisingly Katie is the one with her head in the right place and she talked to Liberty telling her the things that should have been said to her at that time. And warning her that she would have to be patient and take it when Brad found out because he would be YELLING at all of them including Katie was a sensible thing to do also. IMO. But I have to admit when Janet informed Liberty that Brad knew that she and Parker had Sex I ROTFL when she said, "Dead Daughter Walking" and asked Janet to "come back in time to pick up her remains".
I also almost choked I was laughing so much when Brad showed up so calm and happy in the company of that 280 pound TANK to watch her every minute...talk about over reaction...
Poor Liberty asking Katie to help her and "Where's the Yelling???? I want the Yelling!!!!
She told Katie that the guy "Looks like he eats little girls for breakfast"
Janet doesn't know about this one yet...I can't wait to see what comes next because WE ALL KNOW that those two teens are gonna ditch THE TANK somehow...

Brad needs a CHILL PILL BADLY...LOL! Poor Katie, is in the middle of World War 3. Good thing she is so calm and cool right now because somebody has to be.

I thought Katie did a great job to.

Katie deserves alot of credit for keeping her cool during this whole thing.
General, those were great scenes and I liked the real look Janet & Katie exchanged when Janet was leaving.

i think that when katie finally does become a mother, she will make a terrific one. She's got lots of practice now with helping brad with liberty and all. also, she was temperarily a step-mom to parker, sage and JJ. now she's the step mom to liberty. lol.

I thought that conversation was kinda funny.
I think Katie is doing a great job and I agree she will make a great mother.

I would like to see more Katie and Libery time.

:-) Totally agree. Katie will make a great mother. Wish they'd write in a kid for her and Brad. She is the most ADULT of the entire pack from Jack to the kids at this point. Maybe she should talk to Parker and Liberty together and help them sort this out so they don't get into serious trouble with their budding teenage hormones.

ITA...that is a great idea and hopefully TPTB will realize that is a good way to utilize Katie in this crazy S/L...Because at this point SHE is the ONLY adult they may listen too seriously IMO.

WOW!!!!!! High 5's to Katie once again!!!!!!

Not ONLY did she NOT yell at or judge or take sides in this convaluted mess of Parker and Liberty, but she handled the whole thing like a responsible, sensible adult who remembers how it felt to be a teen. I am really starting to love her talks with Liberty.

What I hated was Janet and Jack giving Janet credit for how Liberty was so mature in agreeing that things were getting too strange and intense between her and Parker and that she definitely was wrong for allowing her fears to lead her to do what he so childishly wanted to do...run away because he is angry with his parents and hers.

She talked to Katie and figured things out without being TOLD what she should feel and think and I also give Kudos to Brad for figuring out that Liberty's sudden mature outlook on life couldn't have come out of the blue but from Katie.

I just hope he tells Janet...WAHOOO, she is gonna be pea green with Jealousy because someone can handle Liberty better than her and is a better example to follow than her...She is already jealous of Katie, so I see a mess coming in the future with her again because of Liberty's respect and admiration for Katie...It has to happen...Janet feels threatened when anybody seems to get a better beam on Liberty than she does.

It is a good thing Brad has Katie.

It's not that Katie can handle her better, it's just that sometimes someone on the outside gets to see things differently. Katie doesn't also have the stress hanging over her head so it's not that difficult for her to see the situation clearly.

I feel bad for Janet, and Brad.

ITA...I also think children are more likely to listen to someone outside their family because the outsider can look at the situation more objectively.

Katie is not an outsider in this situation...She is Liberty's Stepmom...but she is not interfering...which I respect her for...when she speaks to Liberty or Brad it is always one on one and she does it in a way that is non threatening and logical. ITA that maybe because she is the ONLY one that is not yelling and judging is the reason she can see the light at the end of the tunnel...but I also think from a conversation she had with Henry, that Katie is putting herself in Liberty's shoes...she was not a sedate teen herself; which is why she gets this little twinkle in her eye when Liberty pulls a fast one on Brad and she KNOWS it is what it is...that is what makes this fun imo...and also why I think for a change TPTB has made the Stepmother a good haven instead of the evil witch for a change...Kudos to them for that.

Hi i think that Katie did a great Job with talking to Liberty she has alot of patients and does not stress out on the subject and liberty listens to her as well.
They both seem to be able to communicate well i do agree with one thing someone else posted and that was i think that katie should sit down with both Parker and Liberty and talk to both of them, i think that might help as Jack and Brad and Janet are much to stressed and yell way to much especially Brad.
