Quote calliope: Quote hurrikun: Quote Briar_Rose: I don't see how Luke and Noah aren't REAL characters? What makes them not real the fact that they aren't having sex? IMO I'm happy to see one couple that isn't all about humping every chance they get Noah and Luke are among the most fleshed out, consistent characters one the whole show. They are a couple ATWT's is doing their best and the only problem I see is that they're not humping. How long was it for Casey and Maddie??? Personally (and once again I'm probably in the minority here), I think it is refreshing that they are NOT humping. And it has nothing to do with them being gay. I realize sex is a staple of soaps. But "humping" around is what dogs do and it would be nice if human beings would treat each other with more respect and sex as not as much an act of gratification (which of course it is), but more as a way of giving oneself to the other instead of "taking" the other like a possession. Call it old-fashioned (and that's more than okay with me), but it makes it so much more special. I agree with you on most of this Hurrikun (are you from FL?). Sex has become like a part of any date. Like "Hey let's do dinner and a movie tonight and the have unemotional sex." I know there is alot of bed hopping in soaps but seems like real life is going that route too. Scary and sad. I don't think the time has ever been right for Like & Noah to have sex. Certainly not in Emma's house and they are never alone. Back to who is leaving! I'm sorry they didn't do better by this Mike. He was a different Mike but he never got a chance. I still want to see him comfort Lily!! Aaron is completely on my nerves lately, as much as I like the actor, he's like a teenager trying to get someone he hates into trouble. Give him a real purpose or I am okay with his departure. I was glad at first to see Aaron come back , it just seems like lately he is always mad at Chris , why isn't he mad at his dad , or did I miss that when I missed watching for a few days ? I wouldn't care if he left and took Allie with him on his bike. |

Aaron seems to have no family contact and I don't get that either. There is surely enough going on in his own family that he could take a break from rescuing Alli from everything! |

I don't think that Aaron even KNOWS about his dad and Carly. |

Quote Plot-Twister: I don't think that Aaron even KNOWS about his dad and Carly. That's what I was thinking , if he would get his nose out of Alli's butt , he might find out something about his dad. Doesn't he ever call and say , " hey dad , what's going on in your world ?". Has he seen Emma since she came back? |

Aaron lives at the farm right??? Dang. Well the only person in his family he seems to talk to is Meg. |

I thought of quoting the post but I don't think the poster would like that, I get the impression he doesn't like me very much. ... it's not that I don't think people should be allowed to express their opinions, and believe me someone who finds homosexuality uncomfortable or disgusting is not someone who is capable of me taking seriously, but they have to expect that I will call them on it. And no ..., it's not that I don't like you I just feel it is how you respond to people that is grating. Most of your responses seem to come with a supercilious stance. Edited by PlotTwister...You had to know that was coming. I'm not offended, and I'm not going to pretend like I don't know where you would get that impression from. I don't mean to come off that way, but it's not the first time I've heard it. My apologies. I know that by replying I am once again taking us off topic and I apoligize, it's just that I usually post later in the day and I did want to get the chance to say this to Briar. You don't have to apologize, I really have nothing against you. I know that we have spared a few times in the past, but there have also been times when we have had a very similiar take on things. I also know that sometimes I can get up on my high horse and be irritating. I enjoy your posts even when I don't agree with them because they are well thought out and intelligent, and I can always count on you for a good come back or two; which believe me I like! So know that there are no hard feelings, and I know that there will be times when we strongly disagree and times when we are of a similiar mind-set. |

I agree, Aaron is annoying! He's alway's blaming Chris on everything. Chris saved Alison's life for crying out loud. I hope Aaron takes Alison with him too. She's cuckoo. She doesn't know what she wants even before that stupid bracelet incident. |

I must agree that it has not been a good time for Luke and Noah to do the deed. But it also seems like their relationship is going nowhere they just complain to eachother. Noah will participate when he is ready Luke should back off. Plus its not very romatic to rush through your first time when the housemates go out for groceries. Thats what Carly does Luke and Noah should not have too. When they get thir own place it will happen. |

And trust me, also being a minority I definately get your frustration! And even though we don't always agree I commend you and a few others for taking a stand and being up front and honest instead of just leaving when you read something that my be hurtful. That's a tough job and I'm glad that you and Plot are still around to do it. |

Yes, from Florida. It cheapens it. But it used to be that only cheap characters acted cheaply. Now, it's accepted as the "only way to go". Aaron is getting on viewers' nerves just the way Chris did, Holden did.............basically anyone the writers decide need to act over the top. I blame the writers for creating manufactured conflicts. And lastly, yes, this actor was not given a fair shake. They brought the character back and then didn't have the foggiest idea what to do with him. Whatever happened to having 6-8 month bibles on story arcs so that when you bring a character on, you automatically know how things will proceed with them and with ALL characters over 6 months plus. Not well done. |
