Hi everyone,

It looks like the discussion here is beginning to get back to the subject at hand, however, I'd like to remind everyone that we have guidelines about bashing and hateful speech. We aren't trying to censor anyone or stop the sharing of opinions but there is a way to share your opinion without being insulting or hurtful to another poster or group of people.

As a refresher, here is that guideline:
1. Abuse: We do not allow flaming, actor or poster bashing or baiting (insults) of any sort whether it be acting or physical appearance, profanity, racial, ethnic, religious, or sexual orientation slurs. We do not allow sexually-oriented material, nude avatars or any other offensive material on the site. We reserve the right to remove postings that defame, insult or are abusive to any poster or actor, without question. We encourage you to use constructive criticism and tact. Debate/ argue the point, don't argue with the poster!

I'm going to leave this thread open because it appears that things are getting back to the subject and that the debate is just that - a debate. If defamatory comments start up again, I will have to close this thread.

Nope, not you Willow ... my post actually goes back to a couple of pages ago and some hateful statements that were made (and edited) ... I was asked to come into the thread, so here I am ... I'll be here for a bit to make sure things stay on track.

Yes, you can say you find the storyline disgusting, but not being gay. I find storylines disgusting all the time....*cough* Carly and Holden *cough*

Homosexuality is here. It is not going away.

Think of it this way....if you are a christian, would you be offended if someone talked about how disgusting and stupid it was for people to get married in a church with a make believe god blessing them? It would bother you if you are a christian. I would edit that too. Respect is all I am asking.


I guess I'm the exception to what your saying because there is nothing you are anyone else on this board could say that would offend me simply because for someone to offend you there has to be some respect of what that person thinks about you. I don't get offended because I don't know anyone here from adam's apple so I'm not offended. However since I have to play by the rules and try not to offend anyone I'm going to hold everyone to the same standard.

Noah and Luke are among the most fleshed out, consistent characters one the whole show. They are a couple ATWT's is doing their best and the only problem I see is that they're not humping. How long was it for Casey and Maddie???


What I meant by that, since it was me who made that statement, was what other characters with a current s/l airtime is limited to under twenty minutes per week?
As for "humping", I'm not really sure what that means so I can't respond to that comment.

see this is what I don't understand, why say something like you had to know that was coming? Why not just edit the post state why and leave it at that otherwise your baiting the poster to come back with some type of comment.

Absolutely true. Why is Luke on once a week while Janet and Parker - considered "recurring" cast members - get almost daily screen time?
Nuke has become a joke and Van deserves better.

I didn't feel I was being baited. She made a joke, no harm no foul. Some of us have a sense of humor. And yes Ms. PlotTwister, I did know that was coming!

I know this poster's posting style. He has been around the boards for awhile and we get along quite well. If you notice, if I know a poster, the edits are a bit lighter, like a friend saying "hey, knock it off". I am still doing my job, but not "lording" it over anyone's head. If I don't know a poster and thier style, I won't attempt any levity or humor because I don't know how they would take it. Trust me, if I knew that this was a poster that was prone to come back and argue with me, I would not have edited that way.

I'm not offended, and I'm not going to pretend like I don't know where you would get that impression from. I don't mean to come off that way, but it's not the first time I've heard it. My apologies.

Personally (and once again I'm probably in the minority here), I think it is refreshing that they are NOT humping. And it has nothing to do with them being gay. I realize sex is a staple of soaps. But "humping" around is what dogs do and it would be nice if human beings would treat each other with more respect and sex as not as much an act of gratification (which of course it is), but more as a way of giving oneself to the other instead of "taking" the other like a possession. Call it old-fashioned (and that's more than okay with me), but it makes it so much more special.


I agree with you on most of this Hurrikun (are you from FL?). Sex has become like a part of any date. Like "Hey let's do dinner and a movie tonight and the have unemotional sex." I know there is alot of bed hopping in soaps but seems like real life is going that route too. Scary and sad.

I don't think the time has ever been right for Like & Noah to have sex. Certainly not in Emma's house and they are never alone.

Back to who is leaving! I'm sorry they didn't do better by this Mike. He was a different Mike but he never got a chance. I still want to see him comfort Lily!! Aaron is completely on my nerves lately, as much as I like the actor, he's like a teenager trying to get someone he hates into trouble. Give him a real purpose or I am okay with his departure.
