I would hope your teenager knows about homosexuality. I don't see it being a big shock for them to see it on TV.

Senior, I total agree with you 100% and I totally disagree with buffy, you are not being mean you are just expressing your feelings and your opinion and you are entitled to do that and I think your opinion is a breath of fresh air. I just wish we didn't always have to be politically correct all the time. I like being able to express my dislike for something and would like to be able to do that without being called mean or a hater.


Let me just say that there is a difference between expressing your opinion and being judgemental. When you say something is disgusting, that is judgemental. What makes one person able to judge another? However, if you state that you don't like the storyline, and stick to discussing the storyline without making judgements, then that is ok.

The thing that makes this subject different is because there are real people involved. Would we walk up to a person who is gay and tell them that they are disgusting? If so, we don't do that here. We treat all people with respect.

Can we say "in my opinion the storyine is disgusting" which would explain why you dislike the storyline which is what you said we could say, that we dislike the storyline. Well why do you dislike the storyline Keyton? because in my opinion it is disgusting.

Yes, you can say you find the storyline disgusting, but not being gay. I find storylines disgusting all the time....*cough* Carly and Holden *cough*

Homosexuality is here. It is not going away.

Think of it this way....if you are a christian, would you be offended if someone talked about how disgusting and stupid it was for people to get married in a church with a make believe god blessing them? It would bother you if you are a christian. I would edit that too. Respect is all I am asking.

I don't see how Luke and Noah aren't REAL characters? What makes them not real the fact that they aren't having sex? IMO I'm happy to see one couple that isn't all about humping every chance they get . There's more to love then sex.

Noah and Luke are among the most fleshed out, consistent characters one the whole show. They are a couple ATWT's is doing their best and the only problem I see is that they're not humping. How long was it for Casey and Maddie???

The teen storyline is great....it's good that this is being brought out, especially since the morals of society are such.

I do not want to offend anyone and if I do sorry. I have always thought of myself as open minded, non racism in any form black/white couple, gay/lesbian whatever floats your boat. But seeing it on TV black/white couple, gay/lesbian turns my stomach in any direction. I think that if you are black/white couple, gay/lesbian than it should be kept to yourself and your family. As any part of this might harm the children more than we will ever know. However on the other had I have always thought whatever makes a person happy. Sometimes one cannot get along with own color whether be a black with black or white with white that is why they marry black/white. Or man with woman that is why they marry man/man or woman/woman. I have a conflict with what is right in the eyes of man and in the eyes of God.
I just think it should be Man and Wife, Same race for all the children’s sake.

To the subject I did not want to see mike Go at all.

Here here!!! I agree with that 100% Why is it so wrong to be honest about your feelings? And why is it okay to call someone hateful or mean because certain things make them uneasy.

I'm biracial and it doesn't bother me at all to hear someone say that they think people should marry and date within their race. That's completely understandable, and resonable.

Wow, I really have no idea what to say. You say you are not racist, but don't want races mixing "it should be kept to themselves and family" What about the children that arise from these unions? Should they be kept the same way?

I can understand the point you make about a conflict between man and your god. I think alot of people have that conflict.

I was making the point that you can't hurt Luke and Noah's feelings as they are not real people. We have REAL people posting on this board, not characters (well, some of us are characters lol) but that was my distinction.

I must admit that I am surprised by this opinion.

I don't think it is wrong to be honest about your feelings, but I do think that with that honesty there should be a level of caring for another person that may read your opinions.

It is not so much that hearing something like that makes me uneasy, it is that I find it impossible. How am I supposed to date and marry within my own race when I am Native American, Polish, German, Scottish, Welsh, and Finnish? Heck, what is my race?

Some people will laugh at that but I appreciate it! I do try though, most of the time, to be as thoughtful as I can be.

It's all good Plot. I thought of quoting the post but I don't think the poster would like that, I get the impression he doesn't like me very much.
