I just wish we didn't always have to be politically correct all the time. I like being able to express my dislike for something and would like to be able to do that without being called mean or a hater. |

Oh and for the record I'd like to see Luke and Noah go away and bring back Dusty, Lucy and Johnny. Then just for fun and to keep Barbara on her toes bring back James Stenbeck. |

I hope you are using those times as a teaching moment and are explaining to your teen that God made each of us in his/her image and that God loves all of his creatons. As a 56yo Gay man I really appreciate how TV educates. My beef is with children having sex, protected or not. 15 is just to young to give in to hormones.

How about a little equal representation, if your going to glorify the gay love between Noah and Luke, then how about adding a character that is uncomfortable with it and professes a genuine dislike of Noah and Luke because their gay. If you want to make it real then you need to show the good and the bad. Absolutely true! But I do feel they have shown that a bit. i.e. Colonel, Amera, and all the guys that tried to beat Luke up and leave him for dead at the lake, his mom (at first) And Damien. |

When the Colonel shot Luke he was back up and around in a couple weeks and the Colonel was gone then made a brief come back and is gone again. Amera never showed a dislike for either of the two and actually wished them well before she left. The thing with Damian and Lily lated about 2 or 3 days and then Luke pushed Lily down the stairs and that was the end of that. So if you add up all the "bad" and all the "good" the good out numbers the bad at least 50 to 1. Think about it they've been together for a year now because it was last summer when they had their first kiss so out of 365 days they had what about 7 bad ones. |

ITA! I usually fstfwd those scenes with Luke/Noah. I have nothing against gays, but I feel uncomfortable watching those 2 even if they aren't doing anything physical it's just the idea of it. |

It may not seem like it, But I am not actually disagreeing with any if you. My only point is that, we have had s/l involving incest, murder, drugs, abortion, cheating, anorexia,e.t.c There is always some opposition to these s/l portrayed by the other actors ,(maybe not enough), and all of these things are relevant and real in today's soceity. The writers may just be trying to shed a little light on these subjects. (plus they make for good t.v.) And we are doing our job as "watchers", by reacting. |

People express their "disgust" for the gay s/l and then in the same breath, it is said you have no problem with gays! huh? I could care less who has a problem with me! So you don't like a particular s/l! Carly sleeping with her best friend's man is crossing the precious moral line and Emily being a hooker or sleeping with Casey(the son of the man she cheated with) is kinda 'skeevy' but Luke and Noah kissing is 'reprehensible'? I would have to say that I would like to see Luke and Noah leave the show as well, of course not for the same reason as the homophobic people. As a gay person I think the writers have ruined the s/l. They created a gay character (hooray!), and then decided to give him a love intrest, (double hooray!). The producers had stated that they were going to treat the gay love story as they treat any other love story on the show, (yippee!), then they chickened out, (boo!). |
