Be most happy to answer that one. James Stenbeck is a long time nemisis in Oakdale. Originally he was married to Barbara Ryan. Paul Ryan is his biological son and after many years and terrorizing by James Paul finally broke free of his father. James has been killed and brought back to life continually and each time he reeks havoc on Oakdale. I can't remember all the "Crimes" the guys has committed and I'm sure another long time viewer can but the bottom line is he is one evil villan and is as devious as a snake and IF he returns to Oakdale all ''''' you know what will break loose if he's seen. Hope that brief explanation helps there is sooooo much more bad stuff he's done over the years it is hard to remember all the pain he has caused.
