Thanks hurrikum - that made me think about characters I had forgotten about. I remember years ago they would bring back the entire Snider, Hughes and Stewart family. Hope the writers read the trivia - maybe they will learn what the show use to be about - family.

The disappearance of Kirk and Samantha was one of the most aggravating storylines EVER.

After it was supposedly revealed that Kirk killed Diego (which was also a STUPID storyline... but man, was he a creepy character) Kirk got involved with James's son David to takeover Worldwide from Lucinda... last thing we saw was Kirk and Samantha on a pier, I *think* they were kidnapped and I don't know if it was proven that James had anything to do with it. But we never saw them again... one minute they were there, next minute *poof* they were gone.

I {{LOVED}} the character of Samantha Markham. She rocked!

And it was later revealed that the mystery person manipulating Rosanna and Jordan into this position was James Stenbeck. As it turned out, Jordan was James’ son (also unknown to Jordan) who had been given up for adoption. This made Cabot James’ grandson.

9. How are Maggie Crawford and Margo Hughes related? Maggie Crawford was Lyla Crawford Montgomery’s sister. Therefore, Maggie is Margo’s aunt.

Nancy disapproved because of Don was too young to go and get married. Janice moved away. But a few years later (after Don was already out of college), Janice returned with two children in tow and newly widowed. He took up with Janice again. While one of Janice’s children was fine, the other was a real handful. Nancy once again did not approve because Don would get getting an “instant” family. Don married Janice anyhow and angry with his mother, moved the entire family out of town.

She found out that the donor was none other than Doctor John Dixon himself. But as it turned out, Hal Munson, (via the more natural method), was Parker’s father.
13. Initially his name was Rory Cabot. But what is his real name? This one seems to have had more responders stumped than any other. Rory Cabot was the child supposedly given birth to by Gwen Norbeck. Gwen had promised to give the baby up to Rosanna and Craig to adopt. But Rosanna fell into a coma (from Craig running her off the road) and Craig went to prison. So, Carly decided to take the child and raise him until Rosanna recovered. She named the baby Rory. However, (as most of us still remember), this child was never Gwen’s at all, but the child of Jennifer Munson, who had given birth that same evening, and supposedly the child did not survive. In truth, Gwen’s child was the one that did not survive. Craig had the baby’s switched so that Rosanna could have a baby, but moreover, because he was the father of Jennifer’s child (and thus he could raise his own son). When the switch was discovered, the child was given back to his rightful mother, Jennifer. She named the child Johnny and though Craig was his father, Dusty Donovan adopted Johnny after he married Jennifer. So, the answer is Rory Cabot is really Johnny Donovan.

It was revealed a while after Jennifer’s (Barbara and Melinda’s mother) death that Jennifer had a child and gave her up for adoption. This child turned out to be Melinda. 17. Tonio Reyes was married twice. Name his two wives. Also, Tonio is presumably dead. How did he die? Tonio was married to Sierra Esteban and later to Meg Snyder. Tonio’s supposed death came when he fell from a helicopter ladder and presumably drowned. It turned out later that Tonio was very much alive and living down in Montega. But needing surgery and still wanted by the police, Tonio forced Bob and Susan to perform emergency surgery on him (since he needed surgery but didn’t want to go to a hospital since he was wanted by Montegan authorities). Tonio disappeared and is still probably a wanted man.
18. Who murdered Alec Wallace (again in self-defense), and was willing to let Margo take the blame? How is this individual related to Lucinda? Georgia Tucker. While willing to let Margo take the blame, Georgia felt guilty and planned on ending her own life when she was rescued by her lover, Eddie Silva (Alec’s son). Georgia came clean and Alec’s death was ruled an accident. Georgia is Lucinda’s niece since she is the daughter of Samantha, Lucinda’s sister.

Later of course, Benjamin would be reunited on As The World Turns with the actress who played Nola (Lisa Brown). Lisa played Iva Snyder for many years.

After fighting him for quite a long time, Susan eventually consented to a divorce (cause she had designs on someone else at this point). Though years later Dan and Kim began an affair while she was married to John Dixon, Dan was not married to Susan at the time. Sidenote: My favorite scene in the entire history of As The World Turns is where Kim shows up and finds a drunken Susan and in an attempt to sober Susan up, puts her in the shower (fully clothed) only to be dragged into the shower with her. Both ladies were drenched.
