I thought that was a little too risque. They really didn't need to go there. Brad could have found out about Parker and Liberty a thousand other ways without them going there.

Although, I think it's absolutely hilarious that Brad gets Liberty a bodyguard!!! I laughed my head off when I saw that.

I totally called Emma flipping out about her kitchen and cabinets, but I'm glad Jack stood up for Janet and showed he cares for her.

Poor Vienna. Henry's an idiot.

And Brad needs to listen to Katie more often. She knows what she's talking about.

Yeah I know. I made a typing error and wrote Janet instead of Liberty, but I went back and fixed it. My bad.

I did not see so much of a problem with it. It was a way of being caught in the act without being actually caught in he act. He is gonna be so mad at Janet for not snaching up them condoms!

I wonder whats up with this body guard? Brad is crazy! Wow this is going to be interesting!

Permit me to be one (of the few) actually applauding Brad and his actions in trying to protect his daughter.
I was exposed to a situation, just a few weeks ago. I was hospitalized, and my hospital roommate was a college age kid who had cracked up his car, drunk, while ALSO on 'anti-seizure' medication at the same time. On the night after he was brought into my room, I was asleep, almost 11 o'clock at night. I was awakened by voices by people who were, laughingly, bragging about how they had gotten up to the hospital floor and, ultimately, the room without alerting security. Well, when I opened my eyes, I, literally, was seeing a recreation of John Belushi's 'Animal House.' An old fashioned 'frat party,' drinking, cavorting around, sex-capades, you name it. Well, it did not take me long to ring my buzzer for the nurse, and have her see what was going on...needless to say, the medical staff, security etc...were all red-faced and embarrassed about the whole situation. As sick as I was, I made it my business to put a stop to it. Not only that, but I also lodged an official complaint with 'Patient Relations,' and alerted my county and state legislators about the matter.
'Sonny Boy's' mother was a piece of work. In her eyes, her son could do no wrong, while she gave me cold, icey stares. Someone came into the room and showed her a product, available on the internet, where you can speed to 80, 90, 100mph and NOT get detected by police radar. The mother asked her friend how much it was, and when she was told '$100,' she said, 'We'll buy it.' That woman, as a mother is an enabler, pure and simple. Her actions will, ultimately see her son his crash his car again, and maybe the next time he won't be so lucky.
There are those who think that Brad is going overboard, but I applaud his moves. Janet waving all those birth control methods, condoms, pills, brochures etc...was, in my opinion, Janet telling Liberty to go ahead and do it. An open invitation, pure and simple.
There, I've said my piece. I know I am in the minority, but, I felt I had to say it.

I think Brad has great intentions for his daughter, but he is not going about it right how he should go about I dont know. What I do know is if a girl is going to have sex for any reason, she will. And as crumby as it is, its up to the lady to protect herself against prenancy and also disease.

It can be interpreted as a go ahead when you give your kid condoms and bc pills, but I would rather see them do it sooner being protected thinking its ok if they do it as long as they have condoms. Rather than thinking ok lets do it we dont have condoms but we probably wont get pregnant anyway.

I feel Janet did best in seeing things for what they are, the kids are spending lots of time togther and so on. So she tried to teach her daughter what she needed to know.

Great post my friend , I agree with you 100% . I'm sorry to hear that you have been Ill again. I miss you sending me your lastest features you have written.
Back to Brad , if there were more fathers like him and less mothers like Janet .There would be a sharp decline in birth rates for teen. Daughters and sons need a good role model . To me , Janet seems a little on the rough and tough side.
Janet gave Liberty the green light when she put her on the pill. Now that Parker got a taste of the wild side , he is after Liberty again. This story line is very distasteful.
May you have a speedy recovery my friend.

I applaud Janet for having the foresight to see her daughter was going to have sex and prepared her for it rather than sticking her head in the sand like Brad is doing. Janet knew whether Liberty was on the pill or not she was going to have sex. You can tell yourself well I want give my child any birth control options and that'll keep them from having sex and then 9 months later you can tell your friends your a new grandma or grandpa. I guess it's been so long since some of us were teenagers that we've forgotten how teenagers think and act.

Brad is a good father and doing the best he can. Janet gave the go ahead by giving that to liberty plus liberty has learned from janet and I hate when Janet thinks she has more say in what goes on because shes been with liberty the longest its her own fault for not contacting bread so booo hoo

When I was sixteen , sex wasn't on my mind. I had a mother who had seven daughters and none of us were having sex at sixteen.
These young girls think sex is just a joy ride. Is it wrong to date and fall in love before you do it. Or think , oh boy , I'm on the pill , you bring a condom and will do it first chance we get. That doesn't sound like the right way to act. No love , just sex , plain and simple .Parker got the cherry , now he wants to put it back in the box.

You have Katie, Janet and Jack all telling Brad he's over reacting, but Brad is right? I don't think so and it takes two to tango so anything Liberty learned about having sex from Janet having sex when she was a teenager she also learned from Brad. I guess no one here has ever heard the old saying an ounce of prevention it worth a pound of cure. I guess I got to get a 2nd job if I'm going to hire a bodyguard for my daughter. How do ya'll pay for your daughter's bodyguard?

I never had that problem , I raised two sons . Just because I'm older doesn't means that I don't know how teenage girls think. I have a teen age granddaughter , she is on the pill for female problems , I can promise you that sex wasn't on her mind when she was put on the pill , getting well was. She is fifteen and taking college classes in her spare time this fall , she is nothing like Liberty , thank God. She is in the gifted and talented class . Not all teen age girls have sex on their brain.

The annual Renaissance Festival is going on in my area...I say bring on the CHASTITY BELTS!
I'd like to see how Parker would manuever to put on a condom when he is in a suit of armour from head to toe...

I'm a great grandmother and I know how some teenage girls think and act. I have a fifteen year old granddaughter , plus , I can say I haven't forgotten when I was a teenager , my memory is still good , my teenage years weren't all about sex. It was dating , falling in love and acting like I wasn't sex crazy. I made it until I was nineteen.
