As the World Turns - MESSAGE BOARDS

I've been posting about 6 months. I've watched GL and ATWT most of my life ever since they began. For a few months, I've been really disappointed in both of my favorite soaps.

I started watching Y&R less than a year ago and I never thought I would say, I like it better, at this time, than my favorites. I even started watching B&B which I always thought was a boring soap because the on/off again relationship with Ridge & Brooke.

However, if GL & ATWT doesn't do something about the boring s/l's and the format that isn't working, especially Gl, I am afraid my favorite soaps will no longer be on TV. I hope I'm wrong

I think it's only been a month, but I'm not sure. Is there anyway Plot that you could figure when I first started posting? No rush, just curious. I know u have a lot to do with your family and the garden and hopefully you'll get the laundry done! It's so hard for me to do laundry because I have to schlep it down 2 flights of stairs. It's a pain, but I do get satisfation after I have completed it.

About a year , started watching again then too, watched on and off used to watch Y&R, b&B with my grandmother when I was younger. Long time ago, I am turning 40 on Sat., not so young anymore lol.

I've been a lurker for a while too...but have watched atwt and gl for, well many a year!

My mom has always watched B&B and Y&R, so those were always on in the background. Then the last 2 years I started to watch increasingly on my own. Then I picked up ATWT on my own because it comes on after B&B. I am picking up a little GL too now.

I lurked on the boards about six months ago with an occasional post here or there. And just started really posting about 2 months ago maybe?

I've been reading the posts /updates for B&B and Y&R for almost a year. I remember GL back in the glory days with Roger and Holly, and then Reva and the Lewis gang. GL was my favorite soap forever. But now Y&R and B&B are my #1's. ATWT is a close 2nd. CBS rules! As for actual posting...just a few weeks, or less. I dunno...my best friend screwed me out of an amazing job, so I'm at home licking my wounds. Time seems meaningless. I need a place to do something, and the message boards are very helpful. When I do go back to work, I can't imagine giving up the message boards. I'll be posting whenever I get a chance!!

I have watched all the CBS shows over the years and even GH but ATWT has always been my favorite but I am brand new to the message boards. I started watching in Jr high with my grandmother, an advid ATWT watcher. She'd fill me in during school, these were the days "before" VCR's and such. ATWT is the only show I watch now with an occassional viewing of B&B. I like the message boards because I sit and watch the show, sometimes in frustration at the writers for the story lines or the characters for their craziness and then can talk to others on here about my own thoughts on things going on in Oakdale.
