As the World Turns - MESSAGE BOARDS

I just sent a comment, new topic, and was turned down for publishing on this site because I used the word that Parker called Carly on the show. He can say it on the air, with children watching (its summer, remember), yet I can't print it on this space, where no children are. Guess what, I will never watch your show again. You don't censor me. I have a right to say what I want. Just like you do on the show......

Some people are offended by trashy words. ATWT does not own this site and the people that do have every right to censor words they feel might offend. Sorry you are so immediately turned off.

While we don't want to lose you as a poster, we really need all of the guidelines to be met...especially the no bashing (ie politeness) guideline. There are people who get edited, it happens, doesn't mean you will be banned. I have even had to edit myself!

Sometimes when people are having a bad Day they say or do things they don't mean. I said some things on here before I Shouldn't have and I apologized. So give it another try.

I understand everyone's point of view, but in the end, guidelines should be followed. If it makes you feel any better..............I have been "automatically" censored twice when referring to The late writer Doug Marland's stories as very comparable to movies directed by the late Alfred Hitchc-ck. See? There it happened again, lol.

It's just one of those things. As opinionated as I am, I find that I am usually in the minority here on the message board whenever we are discussing issues regarding sexuality, the sexual harassment story, Emily Stewart (gosh where do I start), and the reactions of some have been way over-the-top where many others just disagree and are respectful about it. Nevertheless, I was always allowed to speak my peace.

And when we drink on here we must have highballs not c-cktails. (I'm not real sure how we get away with highballs!)

I know somebody who got censored for trying to type c0cktail dress for goodness' sake. Somebody has a dirty mind!!
