As the World Turns - MESSAGE BOARDS

I want to know what makes y'all turn to the message boards. I want things to get hoppin again and to do that we need to find a happy medium with the pot stirrers (I can be one of those), the big debators (I can be one of those), the you ain't gonna change my mind but you aint getting the last word (I can be one of those lol)

So, seriously, what makes you happiest over here? Is it games, discussions, trivia, remembering old storylines, trying to come up with new ones, downright nasty fighting?????

Tell me and I will try to get us moving.

I come here almost every day and I come to talk to about anything my story which I haven't done ever since I first started writing it on here so yea.Then there was Allison too
and that's it.

The main reason I come on here is when something that happens on the show intrigues me and I feel compelled to discuss it with other fans. I ask questions about things that confuse me, or give my opinion on certain characters or situations, and sometimes you meet nice people who you enjoy talking to. I love this show, and it's nice to have a place to discuss it with other fans.

I don't mind getting involved in civilized debates and discussing controversial topics about/not about the show, but I don't like to start trouble or get into arguments. I'm content with a friendly and civil atmosphere.

I like to read what other people think about the show and the different situations going on at the time. I like to give my opinions sometimes to. There is so many people each with their own opinions and not everybody is always gonna agree on things and some topics get pretty heated and they get way off the topic. So it is defintely interesting reading on here. I enjoy it very much.

Well, sometimes that's how I feel. I keep vowing to not open this site but once or twice a week. I don't really like to know what is going to happen before I watch it so I avoid spoilers but just the normal chit chat often gives away stff. But look, here I am and it isn't even 9:30 AM yet!

It's one of a very few guilty pleasures I have (one of my others being iced mocha lattes ). I enjoy the conversation with grown ups too...since I generally only speak to my kids all day.

p.s. I'm not much on the games, but I love getting the more in depth info on the characters and s/l's. Definitely not into confrontation.

I enjoy the diff opinions and can agree to disagree. I DO NOT enjoy the go at it posters and avoid them if I can. Like someone else pointed out, it is a soap. The same sex issue is boring to me, its like "discussing" abortion, you are either for or against and nothing can be said on this or any other venue that will change that, IMO. Speaking for me, I have been in the summer doldrums, I think, busy, etc. and continue to ck the board but not always feel the need to vent on it. I have made a two good friends and several others I enjoy reading their opinions. Im rambling and not answering, need to go to bed I enjoy this message board for the most part and sometimes when its boring, the sl's are boring so what can you do?
