OMG...when Henry said that line about peddlin peppacokel three times-I laughed so hard that I cried! And the other day when Jack said, "begins with Brad and ends in is an ahole!" I roared! We give the writers alot of grief on here, but I have to give them cheers for some really great lines! Good job! Keep em coming! I love to have my passion served with a side of gut busting laughter! It makes me feel like I don't have to bash my head into the wall after having to wipe down the toilet seat for the 1millionth time in a day and it allows me to say sweetly to my boys, "please be a sweety and lift seaty!" Instead of lift the %#@#$@#% seat! It makes me a better mom!

I love when the comedy is thrown in as well. I think Henry is pretty funny anyway.

Yeah, that was hilarious when Henry said that. He is always such a breath of fresh air. I just don't understand why Vienna wouldn't want to work the nightclub with Henry! Vienna is so much more suited to a position that allows her to wear her glamorous clothes and jewels and be the charming social butterfly that she is. With Vienna working at the Metro, it would surely add so much class to the place. I really wish Vienna would change her mind.

And I also don't understand why they still call it "Al's Diner", for Pete's sake! It sounds like a greasy spoon-type of place. They really need to change the name to something more appropriate to the style that Vienna has added to the place.

Henry is funny and great, they really need to put him in the same room with OLTL's David Vickers, those two would create a storm of funny crazziness!!

Pepparkakor-"A traditional Swedish Christmas recipe, they are crispy, brown, and delicious plain or decorated. Different from your everyday gingersnap!"

INGREDIENTS:

2/3 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup molasses
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
3/4 tablespoon baking soda
2/3 cup butter
1 egg
3 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour

DIRECTIONS:

Place butter in a large, heatproof bowl. In a medium saucepan, heat brown sugar, molasses and spices just to boiling point. Add baking soda and stir in. Pour this mixture over the butter and stir until it melts.
Beat egg and mix in; add flour, a cup at a time, and blend thoroughly. Turn out onto a lightly floured board and knead 1-2 minutes. Wrap in waxed paper and chill until firm (about an hour).
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (170 degrees C).
Roll out to approximately 1/8 inch thickness on a lightly floured board and cut into desired shapes. Place on greased baking sheets and bake for 8 - 10 minutes.
Remove from sheets and cool on racks; may be decorated with piped icing or whatever else you like!

ITA on both posts!!!! Henry and vienna would be great for business, at the club. AND, the restaurant should have a nice Bavarian or Norwegian name.

I do love Henry (and Trent), but I can't think of a more useless duo(he and Vienna) on a soap(okay, maybe Mallet and Marina on GL, but that's another story). Their s/l's are unbelievably uninteresting. It's a shame, because Henry is so endearing...Vienna, I could do without.

Actually, I just looked it up on Google for ya, and copied and pasted the recipe. I have never made it, although I may try this Christmas. I am of Norwegian heritage, so this was never part of family food for me. I had the lefse, sandbakkels, rommegrot, lutefisk kind of stuff. I guess krumkake is probably the closest thing to pepparkakor.

Glad I could help out!!!
