Lilly is being called a hypocrite about Holden and Carly's affair because she slept with Dusty.
But didn't she do this only after Holden had told her that their marriage was over and had moved to the farm?
Wasn't Holden sniffing after Bonnie at that time also?

I think it was because of her lies during the E coli baby food situation.

Can someone clear this up for me --- am I remembering this correctly?

That is the way I remember it as well. Holden wanted a divorce or at least a seperation and he was spending alot of time with his lawyer (Bonnie). It was after that when Lily and Dusty slept together. So I don't consider that cheating on Holden, he didn't want her, told her so she had some fun (at first) with Dusty. Lucky her!

I agree...Holden made it clear that he didn't want her and was in hot pursuit of Bonnie. Dusty showed Lily some affection and there we go!

I can't remember what the last straw for Holden was at that time....was it that Lily didn't tell anyone that Carly wasn't dying?

I forgot he was getting a little cozy with Bonnie. I cant remember the final straw for Holden either.

Holden and Lily had just separated when she and Dusty got together. Holden was the one who pushed for a separation. I believe while Lily and Holden were telling the kids about their plans to separate, Emily was telling Dusty there was no hope for them to ever have a future together. That night was the beginning of Lily and Dusty, part two.

Holden kept pushing Lily away and she seen that he was getting cozy with Bonnie, and she turned to Dusty. Her affair with Dusty is definitely not the same as holden and Carly's affair. Both wrong, but still different. Lily thought they were building back there marriage together.
