going to far? the military shouldn't care about someone's sexual orientation and they don't because there are many gay people in the military. also, no i wouldn't care if a gay person slept in the same area or showered in the same area as my husband or boyfriend because i think gays are more trustworthy anyway. they would probably be less likely to cheat on their partner then a heterosexual man. i mean, straight men are quite frankly bigger sleep around type people then gay men. think about it! besides, luke and noah are cute together and although it's weird seeing them kiss it's natural and it's love so life moves on. just love.

That don't make no sense!
I think your trying to convince yourself more than anyone else. I was in the Army, my Grandfather was in the Army, my father and two of my uncles were in the Army and I've got two cousins that are in the Army now and we actually had the "gays in the military" conversation at a family reunion and everyone of us had the same opionion, "IT AIN'T RIGHT!"

There have been gays in the millitary ever since there has been a millitary. When your family was in the millitary you and they were more then likely working right next to a gay person everyday!!

Okay let me rephrase what I said:
You shouldn't tell this man he served with gays in the military. I think he probably knew the people he served with well enough to know if they were gay are not.

Cheers,
I'd just like to say thank you to you and your family for all you've done for our country. All of us don't feel like margolovestom feels.

Why? Are heterosexuals that serve in the military that sexually insecure that they can be "turned"? Regardless of the sexual orientation, soldiers are soldiers. We should thank all of them, not just the straight ones.

You would be amazed at the amount of gay people in the world. Plus, with the "don't ask, don't tell" policy, you never know who you work with.

See this is what ticks me off, giving the fox the key to chicken coop. You have the power to edit my comments, then you turn around and post whatever you want and don't have to worry about getting editted. That's not right, if your going to post your views you shouldn't edit those who oppose you.

Fox - smallest member of the dog family, which also includes wolves, coyotes, jackals, and dogs. Foxes are characterized by short legs, an elongated narrow muzzle, erect triangular ears, thick fur, and a long bushy tail.

Sorry to disappoint, but I am human with long legs a regular face, kinda pointy ears, not very hairy, and my tail is non existant.

And this is the type of thing that is quite rude. You are taking an opportunity to become personal. I let your previous post go with a slight edit. I was even really light about it.

As a moderator it is my JOB to moderate posts. It is a non paid position. I am fair to everyone in edits. Just look through this thread. I even edited myself. So, consider this a warning from me. Don't insult me again, or if you do, prepare to be reported.

Just be nice and respectful to EVERYONE ane all will be fine.

Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words. You hit the nail on the head, I did know the guys I worked with and a few of them I still talk to from time to time. When your stuck with someone for at least a year sometimes longer you find out all about them. A standard army hitch is usually about 2 years, then your moved to another post. Korea is a one year hitch and Germany is a two year hitch, then you usually come back state side. All I can tell you is to grin and bare it, people like us are always going to be singled out. I didn't appreciate that person talking about my family, but there is nothing I can do about it. I guess the moderator didn't think it merit any action.
