All this Carly hating. I would normally defend my girl, but this time I cant do it. Carly has crossed the line this time. She is betraying her ONLY friend. Thats too low to defend. Just want to jump in and say my intent with this thread was not to incite a Carly fans versus non-fans. It's not too long ago an us versus them mentality caused chaos and grief on this board and I definitely don't want to relive that!

As a Maura West fan first and a Carly fan second I must say I hate this story line. I actually hate this Holden/Carly thing more than I hated Kack and trust me I hated Kack! Before Friday I would have agreed with all this, that what Carly is doing is wrong, but Friday and well it looks like Tuesday also, that Carly is pushing Holden to see that it’s not right. She is thinking about everyone else and telling Holden he loves Lily. Holden, on the other hand, doesn't want to accept that. He thinks he doesn't love Lily anymore and is turning to Carly. He wants Carly cause Carly is *exciting* as he says.

They are both wrong in a way they should not have kissed. I know all the people who don't like Carly will blame everything on her with that is not fair. She didn't start all this. They are equally to blame. Although Carly is getting her points back with me by telling Holden to stop!!!

It’s sad because MW is a great actress. But this storyline is making alot of Carly fans angry. Personally I don't think Carly would ever want Holden. I don't see it, I never have. This is an example of bad writing, although I won't blame it on the writing. Just as Carly would have never left her kids for Simon, even though it was Jack who told her to. Carly wouldn't be with Holden of all people. OMG Holden? I mean really..Holden????

Im a Carly fan also, but this storyline has me seeing red. I dont know why the writers had to go there. I dont want Carly messing with Lily's husband. She only has one true friend and what does she do? Stab Lily in the back. Carly, you will always be alone if you continue to act like this.

Carly leave Holden alone; he's married to your so-called friend.

Have you been watching the show that I've been watching? Carly is trying to get him to stay with his wife. Especially yesterday. Sure, she's got these feelings but she isn't acting on them because she knows it's wrong. Please get all of the facts before just jumping down her throat yet again.

Is she innocent? No, but at least she is trying to keep Holden at a distance. She doesn't want to lose her best friend.

Yeah I have to agree with Salsprincess and MWCarlyFan. Carly wants Holden to work on his marriage and to keep his distance but he can't because of his feelings for her. Carly knows this is wrong and she is trying to deal with it before it gets out of hand. Carly is the only woman in Oakdale to get crap. All the other woman, who cheat, lie, manipulate, marry 6 -8 men are all ok though I guess.
