You couldn't be more right, I'm still disappointed how luke recovered after the Colonel shot him, you'd think a military man could have killed him with one good shot.

Yup - but we can hope Krazy Kernal is - like all good homophobic bigots - dead and gone.
But he'll probably sneak back and do somthing drastic and end up getting his brains blown out.
Happy Pride, Jokedale.

we can hope fancy luke is like all good hetrophobic bigots, dead and gone.
we might get lucky and he'll do somthing drastic and end up getting his brains blown out.

you're alittle harsh here wouldn't you say!

You know for the life of me, I can't understand why it is necessary to bring up orientation and this trite discussion! I'm sorry if I'm fueling the fire by posting this but I thought this was a thread about the Colonel being dead or not? Geesh! Personally, I don't think the character is dead!

The only reason why they post is because they want someone to say something back to them. It's annoying and hard to resist (because sometimes I can't) but...

I hope he's dead. Everything he gets involved with is just over dramatic nonsense.

I agree. Tired of the colonel, and Noah used to be one of my favorites, but he can't make a decision. And, Luke can't leave him alone, and let him make it either. I'm a little tired of both of them right now. I have been getting more done, in the afternoons now though. I'm not worried, if I miss GL and ATWT anymore. But, I do keep checking in.I don't want to completely give them up.

ATWT is exciting to me. I like it. The only S/L I ff is Luke and Noah's but I might resume watching now that the insanity is over.

Quote Wonderdog: OK, so why is Noah so sure his Dad is dead? In the case of a missing person, most family members hold out hope for a really long time - even years.

This may sound mean but I don't think Noah is the brightest bulb.

You need to be more specific, which poster are you addressing because they all have basically the same post just pointed at different characters. Unless your addressing all 4 posters, it's none of my business, I was just wondering which poster you were addressing.
I get the impression this storyline will be a debate that will go on for a long time.

I think he swam under the boat, and somehow held onto it and got a ride back to shore. The guy has nine lives it seems, so he will show up again, probably the day Luke and Noah have their civil union ceremony.

He definately isn't dead!
He is an expert in his field so there is no way he is dead, but that is what he wants everybody to believe.

I for one have had enough of Weaky Deaky Noah, I would have liked to have pushed him and Ameera off the boat!!!

Sick of the whole silly storyline....glad it is over!

Okay, I was beginning to think I had missed an update or something. I thought he just dove in the water. WTF??? and now Noah thinks he's dead? I was assuming he must have really seen him do himself in.

That's exactly why I started this thread - because I thought I had missed something. Apparently not. It just seems like a very strange leap for Noah to make - that his Dad is dead - and not only dead, but killed himself right in front of him - just because he saw him dive into the river. I understand Noah is blaming Luke for his Dad's death, but the story just doesn't work for me at this point because there is NO reason to believe the Colonel is dead and every reason to believe he got away.

It's like they are really dumbing down Noah.

ITA!!! I think that Noah is over reacting here. You're right! The Colonel is a highly trained military man.He hasn't drowned. He is like a roach!!!!He'll be back!
