Noah needs a break from a relationship that is almost a year old and hasn't progressed beyond a couple of kisses?
Or are the powers that be just looking for any excuse to NOT take this relationship forward?

Personally when times are tough for me, I am grateful that I have a partner to help me through.

Noah's reaction doesn't ring authentic to me.

After today's show, it sounds like Luke may have had enough. I wouldn't blame him at this point. It's one thing for someone to ask for, and get, some space. But Noah keeps moving further away from Luke. I don't think Luke is obligated to wait for him.

I agree wonderdog. Luke has bent over backwards to accomodate Noah. Noah is an ungrateful person. He says he loves Luke and knows that Luke loves him, but he needs space???? Get out of there Luke.

I think this is the writers way of letting us know that Luke is gay, but he is going to be gay and never get any action. He might as well be a 80 year old virginal old maid with 50 cats, a ratty sweater and lipstick on their teeth!

Luke has bent over backwards for Noah and his side kick ameere.. He did this because he loved him and this is what he gives back. I never really liked Noah..he needs to go bye bye and bring in another love interest for Luke!

If Luke is smart, he'll make it a permanent break and find himself a new man. Not only does Noah have baggage, but he keeps repacking it in a futile attempt to make it lighter. The solution is to throw out the past and start over with a whole new bag.

luke is so goodlooking. I think Noah is questioning his sexuality. I think he is in love with Amerrea. I wish Luke would go on to college as he had planned. He doesn't need Noah and his dragging of his feet. Luke ,stand up for yourself!

If I could put in my two cents' worth in -- Personally speaking, after 4 years (and no action, mind you), I took a six month break from my wife to 'sort things out,' much like Noah is doing now. Voila, after six months, I figured that it was THE real thing, and we got married shortly thereafterwards. That was 21 years ago.
The executive producer (Chris Goutman) may have made some bonehead decisions lately, but he won't do anything to upset those NUKE fans out there.

I think Noah needs to put on his big boy pants, strap 'em on, and grow up.

I disagree, but maybe I'm biased. I can't stand Luke. Ever since this whole Ameera thing happened I felt like Luke was constantly breathing down Noah's back. Always telling him what he should and shouldn't do. I mean, Luke acts like he's Noah's mom not his partner. Clearly Noah has issues that he needs to work out. How can a guy clear his head with Luke yammering on 24/7 about what he should be doing?

I don't blame Noah. Cast a new guy for Luke, I don't think these guys make a good match. Their personalities don't fit. Luke's too clingy to me.

They both bore the pants off of me. The whole gay storyline never even bothered me, nor excited me, it was very dull.

Van Hansis (Luke) showed why he is emmy nominated yesterday - really felt his heartbreak.

Good actor, no doubt.

I understand Noah.He's been through a lot, and has a ton of conflicting emotions to work through.He wants space. I'm the same way, s I understand.They haven't been together for years, they're not married, and Luke is suffocating him! Van's acting yesterday was awesome, but I could hardly watch because he kept going over the same stuff with Noah. Noah has asked for space, he has said he still loves Luke. Luke needs to get that and let him breathe.
