Greetings all. I would just like to state up fron that I am a carly fan that. Now that I have admitted it, I would just like to add my comments are not an attempt to whitewash her questionable actions of yore, but, this storyline is making me so angry. I would also like to add that I am really do not want to hurt anyone's feelings or even take a side in the Katie/Carly thing-that is really not what my post is about. I am in no way shape or form advocating lying, cheating, or, Lets just get this out of the way the breaking, tweaking or otherwise manipulation of any of the 7 deadly sins, 10 commandments, laws of the land, or lets face it even common sense< nor am I trying to absolve any of Caly's past "sins" whatever you may or may not think that they maybe. anyway here goes:

First she thought she had a brain tumor: I think being told, that you were going to die in a few months, have to come to terms with that, strong meds - with awful side effects(and those can absolutley change your personlity(I know, she lies-still not the point here), some people wind up in mental institutions and they were not even married to Jack Snyder, nor did they have to listen to that high pitched barbie (sorry, my migraine talking). They left her home alone with a neurological condition, her sister's act like she has a scraped knee, well, Ro also has a neurological condition as coma patients are also considered neurological/brain trauma and do not even get me started on Lily waking up and expected to just be herself, whatever that is. You never are. When something traumatic enters or happens to your BRAIN and makes it swell, the like, Your judgement is impaired, thinking, etc. You often do not even recognize yourself one minute and then the next minute you do.

Guess what an absess on the the BRAIN is not a head cold It carries with it Neurological symptoms. It may not be a tumor but it is still on the BRAIN. I was just diagnosed with Migraine disease, which I have come to know is a neurological disease not a headache, would have been nice had my doctor filled me in on the rest of the story, so I would not have thought I had MS, ALS, or a brain tumor, which is what was originally suspected. Remember I said sometimes you do not recognize yourself, I know how it feels and it is Yuck!

Now Carly is told she is going to live, jack is doing his usual dance, her emotions are all over the place and she is still suffering residuals from the powerful medications, they do not get out of your system that quickly and the effects of having an abcess on her BRAIN, even if completely gone can still be causing complications and could you imagine the complications from that scenario. However,many do not even want to consider any of these unimpeachable medical facts, not the facts to do with Carly's history, but her physical/biological condition. Geesh, I know she has a history of scheming blah, blah, blah, but just for a minute imagine it was someone else. Her mind and body are extremely stressed from the meds and the emotions of thinking she was going to die. Your hormones are also housed in your brain. (MY body is so stressed that my eye doctor had to put plugs in my eyes to retain some tears - high stress level).

Plus I can speak from personal experience about headaches, and the numerous other neurological symptoms: vertigo, visual disturbances, tinnititus, the like. all of these people are lucky it was not me. I have done some weird things when in throes of migraine you are not using your best judgement.I don't even always have a headache, neuro symptoms that makes people think I am drunk and I do not drink and have never done any type of drug in my life. I have lost loved ones to stroke, respiratory ailments, heart attacks and have my own illness to deal with and I find this beyond insulting. To conconct a story like this for the sole purpose of propping another character and or coupling is brutish and unsettling to say the least. I also find it condescending. And DR.mc - I will tell everone who wants to know your condition combined with the lolita nurse, who may as well just be selling patient records, with the lawyer on the plane I am surprised anyone in that town is alive. Also, I am definitely a non violent person, for the life of me I don't know why Carly wants Jack; Lily wanting Holden befuddles me as well, but, if Katie obtained my private medical records, I think that I would kill her -I am being dramatic here of course, since I would never, ever condone or perpetuate violence on another person, fictional or real. It would just be the last straw. Now, granted that could be my Migraine talking, but that is a federal crime, HIPPA laws are too, but this is a personal attack and as I have a neurological disease that at this time in my life no one seems to be able to help me and they are still investigating the full symptomology (I am not kidding, you can look this up if you do not believe me)

I would also like to take this opportunity to say Bless all of us in remembering and keeping close in our hearts those loved ones that we have lost. I am sorry for the rambling rant, but I just had to get it out.

I'm sorry that you are having medical problems! As a nurse I totally understand, soaps don't usually have too many realistic medical s/l. With that being said, the antibotics Carly has been on she should almost be totally recovered. I don't think that this is the reason she has been lying. Carly's character has always schemes and lies, personally that's what I like about her, she will do whatever it takes to get what she wants and that us usually Jack! Of course, this is just my opinion.

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post. I understand bout the misdiagnosis, but it was of the tumor. she did not have a tumor she did have an abscess.

Sorry.. I am not trying to be obtuse or nasty I hit post before I finished with my first response. with some meds just one dose can create devastaing monsters of their own.
