As the World Turns - MESSAGE BOARDS

There are three things that are driving me crazy.

First, put some makeup on. How long are we going to have to look at that bland face.

Second: Why in the hell is she screaming at Brad and throwing things yelling at him saying how much she hates him for taking the chances he did, and why did he go to the warehouse and get himself killed?

Well, why the hell did she go to Ralph and threaten a known mobster. If she would have stayed home none of this would have happened.

Third: And Margo trying to play hardball with Henry. Just a few double standards don't you think? Adam did worse than Henry every thought of doing and she is going to arrest Henry.

P L E A S E!! Get a grip. A bit of over acting today IMO.

Oh, I think she's beautiful...with or without makeup...but, PLEASE, loose that nasty headband.

I know she is beautiful but they are making her look like death warmed over.

Yeah, I think they are going for the new mom...no time to wash your hair...totally stressed out look. It's working.

Some thoughts:

The no-make-up look on Katie is meant to signal to us that she is seriously acting. Can you spell e-m-m-y--r-e-e-l? Anger at the dearly-departed is actually a legitimate aspect of grief; but since when has spoiled little Miss-I-want-what-I-want-when-I-want-it Katie ever thought about her own responsibility for ANYTHING.

Lack of introspection must run in families, because Margo seems to suffer from the same disease. What else could explain her repeated, revolting favoritism for Adam over her husband and other son. It's hard to reconcile the tough-minded cop who sent Casey to jail and who is now putting the screws to Henry with the goo-goo-eyed, doting mother who would have let Riley/Adam get away with serious crimes and who was willing to discard her and her husband's professional ethics in the process.

Right now, I don't think Katie has anything on her mind except her husband; she can't concentrate on wearing make-up, and even barely came around to the fact that she has a beautiful son to take care of. I'm glad she finally went and saw him in the hospital; Katie is going to be stronger than most, I believe, because she has wanted a child for a long, long time....I wish they hadn't killed off brad though, cause they were so perfect for each other.

Katie's gonna cope with this in her own way and in her own time; I think she looks different without the makeup; and I don't mind how she looks, I just hope she does right by Jacob, who is so adorable! aww....:)

'Katie' is a doll and I bet most new mums would love to look like her make up or not..
but that said I do believe people who love her would be at her home doing what needs to be done for her .
How many new mums go shopping with new born alone ?
None I know in her circumstances. (family/mates/dosh/etc.)
Doctor would NEVER let her go off alone from hospital apt.

I agree, she looked every bit the part of a grieving wife.

I think Katie did a outstanding job acting when brad died I never cried so much.. I hope they find a way to bring him back. They always bring James back..I think you guy are right with the Henry thing and Adam and Maddie should stick up for her brother and tell Margo about it...Katie is pregnancy so they are going to have to write her out soon.

I'm torn realistically she should wear no makeup, but I'm entering fantasy land when I watch a soap, so what the heck put her in heels and doll her up.
