can anyone tell me why they are killing brad off i stopped watching the show for a while and saw some of it today but i know i am way out of the loop lol

I normally don't post on this show but I adore Brad and was not pleased to see today's episode!

His character is funny and he's eye candy He's also a perfect fit for Katie and now that they have a son...a baby she wanted for the last 100 years...I hope the above message is true and that he's not a ghost but somehow comes back to Katie and the baby!

He didn't even get to name his boy let alone see him

;( This has to be the biggest blunder that you all have made on a show that was the best on the air. Brads and Katies characters had finally got it right. Have you ever thought the fans wanted to see that good things work out in the end like they are suppose to be. Seriously, whatever reason his character left the show you lost a tremendous talent. Brad we love you and you will be sadly missed!!! Hopefully the writers will continue with the amazing talents such as Tom Pelphrey otherwise this show is going to lose alot of viewers.

I feel the same way about Brad & Katie's storyline. They were the happiest couple. We need a younger version of Bob & Kim. I wish the writers rethink Brad's storyline. Maybe because it is Halloween week, it can all be a dream that Katie was having. I hope so, I do not want Brad off the show. He is great looking and make such a good pair with Katie. He is the best person ever who has been with her. And please, don't let her go back with Henry and have Henry raise her baby. I will be very upset. Please bring Brad back. And lets see Jack go back with Carly, that would be so wonderful. Thanks

As the World Turn's just hit an all-time low with this storyline!!! I really liked the Brad/Katey storyline. They were finally getting their baby that they've wanted; Brad and both a son and a daughter; and the writer's messed it all up.

I know shows are supposed to have "drama" etc., but COME ON...this???? I am not too sure on why the actor left, but killing him...get real...you could have replaced him with someone else or kept him...because he was a very good actor.

This came as a total shock to me because I haven't been checking the spoiler's or anything lately.

The actress who plays Katie, did a remarkable job with her role! She definitely deserves a big raise! She made it so real that my daughter asked it they were really killing off Brad; and I told my daughter that I hadn't checked the soaps online in quite sometime, but I didn't think so...until the end of yesterdays show.

You could have killed off Holden, Damien, or someone like that, or even Meg. Their story lines are so boring, no matter how hyped up you try to make them. I like the character's of Emily and Paul, and others', but Holden, Meg, and Damien should have been the first to go.

Well, there is no changing this story line now. I can't believe you (As the World Turn's) wants to change Katie back to "her old ways!" I liked the new Katie!

This is an ensemble cast that makes the show. All of them together make this still my favorite soap. IMO Carly & Jack do not make the show. They have become tiresome with repetative story.

If they absolutely had to kill Brad off they could of at least let him pick a name for his baby and LET him see him! To me it seemed like a slap in the face to us viewers.

It sounds like they were looking for a good reason to get rid of 'Brad'. So what if he was fooling around with 'Katie' offscreen. It kind of ticks me off that nothing happened to 'Katie' - it takes two to tango!

I think they should get rid of Meg, she usually has no useful storyline anyways. It's so weird to see her crazy and Paul sane. I wouldn't miss Maddie much either. I'm sure going to miss Brad though, I liked his silly side!

I totally agree that allowing Brad to die is one of the worse storylines ever - if not the worst!! I don't know what your writers are thinking but they need to come up with new ideas. For instance, how crazy is the Barbara/Henry affair, the Uncle Ralphie thing, the Lily marrying Damian and then Holden picking up with Maive, Meg becoming the "evil" one.... geez, after watching the show for 40 years, I don't know if I am going to continue.
