I knew this was coming, I was surprised that she didn't want to raise the baby from the start. I can't think of another option that would have a more devastating effect on Liberty. Have your Mom raise your child as your brother?? It has happened to folks in real life and been a tough road to hoe!

Anyone can say what they want about Paul and Emily but IMO I think they would make great parents.

Having Janet and Jack adopt the baby is like rubbing into Liberty's face daily. I don't think it is a good idea at all.

and everyone is complaining about the baby switch on the young and restless and making that such a big deal over that if this happen on the young and restless they would be an uproar over this Sharon Mon raising hers kid and she would be hers sisters

I have pretty much been in Janet's corner up until now. I think what she is doing to Liberty is horrible. I understand that a teenager and a mother won't have the same methods in which to deal with a situation, but I'm beginning to feel that Janet isn't concerned about morals or church or ethics or whatever we want to call it, it's about what she "Janet" wants Liberty to do. Poor Lib. I hope Paul and Em get the baby.

If they did raise the baby they can raise it to know that Liberty his the mom.I am not crazy about the idea. Janet is just wanting a baby to keep her company.I am all for Emily and Paul getting the baby.But remember Liberty is still going to see the baby all the time.So it is a no win situation.

Janet is just crazy right now! She would be crazy to think that Liberty would want her to raise her baby. She might as well keep it for herself if she was gonna go that route! I am still undecided about Paul and Emily raising a baby so soon but I cant wait to she this s/l play out! I think its gonna be great. Paul/Em vs. Jack/Janet. Should be good!

the only way this storyline can be resolved is for Liberty to lose the baby. I hate it if they make her carry it when she doesn't want to, and then give it up. Jack and Janet taking the baby is nuts.

Janet is nuts....could not be a worse mum for that baby.

I do not see the problem. It sounds some what logical. The baby stays in the family. When Liberty is ready she can take the baby. I have told my kids that if something happened I would help them out. Can't say I would pretend to be mom, but I would rather raise it then let someone like Emily raise my grand baby. I would also rather raise it, then have it killed! This way I would be apart of it's life.

Even if Paul and Emily DO adopt the baby you can bet Liberty, Janet, and everyone else involved will interact with them at some time in the future. I couldn't even imagine how much it would hurt for any one of them to run into Paul and Emily with the baby knowing that the child won't know them as family. I don't really see it coming to this anyway. A lot of teen mothers think of adoption and then have the baby and change their minds. I see Liberty bonding with the baby and Janet and Jack helping her raise it.

Her idea is absolutely the most stupid one she has had yet!

Children are better off raised away from immediate family.
In some primitive cultures the children from seperate villages are swapped--out to prevent inbreeding, In others some children are raised in caves by priests who tell them how beautiful the world is for about 10 years and then let them out to finally see it, they are truley amazed when they get their first glimpse. And their respective prison populations are less than .005%. HMMMMMMM.......
maybe living with actualy blood relatives breeds such resentment and hatred that its actually really bad for society. Jan should reconsider. Wouldn't want a maladjusted child on a Soap. I'm just saying....

After watching the "adults" yesterday I have to say, if I were Liberty I would be on a bus!!! Parker going to get some money? Maybe they will run off and she will find some peace away from Mama. Brad is the only one who seems to realize what all this pressure is doing to Liberty.
