As the World Turns - MESSAGE BOARDS

Help us in stopping CBS cancelling ATWT's the way they did GL. I have been in touch with Proter and Gamble and they do not want to cancel it. It is CBS that wants to cancel the show. There are a couple of things we must do!
(1) Watch or tape ATWT's, so the Neilson Ratings will go up.(2) Contact CBS and demand that they NOT cancel this show.
(3) Contact TPTB re: the show and demand for better writers. The actors can only do what is written on paper. Sot it's not the actor's fault (unless they really are bad actors) it's the writers.
(4) There are some excellent writers out there and CBS ATWT's need to steal them by any means.
(5)Bring back the actors who actually made the show worth wataching. I am actually glad they brought Maddie back she is a good interaction with Casey, Alison, Adam. Personally I don't like Lyn Herring (Audrey), but if she brings other views then bring her on.

Well all good things must come to an end, sadly enough the good thing for ATWT came to an end a few years ago. It would take some major over hauling to get the show back to status that would make it worth saving. Right now the current storyline they have going doesn't inspire me to want to save the show. I might actually enjoy taking a nap every day instead of wasting that hour fast forwarding through some of the scenes they show. I guess I'm on the fence for now, but if things don't change and from the addition of certain new characters it appears they aren't then I really don't see a show worth saving.

I will tape the show if need to instead, of going on cbs.com. The S/L do not always interest me especially when a show starts pulling away from the roots of the show and we are subjected to seeing the same character's over and over. This Liberty pregnancy = SNORE! Teri =SNORE! Audrey = SNORE! Henry inhereting James Stenbeck's money etc..=SNORE! Holden's death = SNORE! Meg telling Lily off was interesting! Holden holding Lily accountable for her actions upon his return will be interesting. However, if Damian and only Damian gets the blame for this then that will = SNORE! I want to see more interaction between Maeve and Holden.
