So this girl did not want this baby, did not get an abortion and abandoned it in another state. Yep, that's responsible alright.

Definitley not! Her mother was is wrong! Thats my point she did this awful thing and acts like its no big deal! It's sick. All Im saying is If my child came to me pregnent Abortion would not be an option I'd put on the table. My children unfortunatley already know what it means, but they have been raised to understand that when you silence a heart beat you are a murderer, so I don't think I'll have to worry to much!

Are you kidding me? My youngest is 8 and God forbid I would never support her murdering her child so I guess im a bad parent too! I mean really God forbid we teach our children that "our actions have consequences!!" When My oldest trned 13 I got him a movie clled kids. I think he's smart enough to know now Protection protection protection! My mom actually told me in HS(especially as all my friends were getting knocked up, If I got pregnant I would have to give it up for adoption that did the trick for me! I kept my legs firmly together!! A friend of mine's daughter actaully had one as a young teen and abandoned it in another state(can you imagine getting that call? It was all over the news We honestly ddn't know she was pregnent and now 5 years later she has 2 more but she kept these 2. what gets me is when she refers to her boys as her only children.
We need to teach our children to be responsible for their actions because not everything can/should be flushed down the drain!!
It really boggles my mind that any woman who has given birth to a child can condone abortion As a mother myself I would've died for my children even when I carried them(I gave up woodstock back in 99 because my doctor said I could loose my son(I was 8 weeks pregnant)I was on bed rest and even got demoted from lead teacher to asst. when I was able to go back. I would do anything for my children! So it really throws me for a loop reading stuff like this!


I am with you. I do not understand how so many people are quick to bring up abortion. They act like it is no big deal. Oh well you can have another one next year. What about the baby growing NOW? Why don't he/she have a shot in life. It just makes me sick to think of all those babies slaughtered and thrown out in yesterday's trash.

Just because YOU don't believe in abortion doesn't make what you think right.
EVERYONE has their choice, did I berate you for your opinion? Did I question your ability to mother because you would put your child through something they didn't have to do because it was YOUR belief? NO! Back off and leave the innuendo about my parenting out of this. OK?
I have said time and time again, I would NOT have an abortion..ME but if my daughter got pregnant, I would SUPPORT her in HER decision..since it's NOT MINE TO MAKE.
I know exactly what it's like for a teenager to have a child they didn't plan and put it up for adoption.
It's not an experience I would want for my child.
So step off your "high horse" and realize that others have opinions and reasons why they believe in certain things.
There are 2 sides to every discussion, and just because you don't believe doesn't give you the right to tell others they are wrong.
I am a VERY good mother, and I have an extremely close relationship with my daughter...and son who by the way are 22 and 27 and have never been in any trouble in their lives!! Why? Because they were raised with respect and honestly and I SUPPORT my children in their beliefs and let them make their own choices..after all ITS THEIR LIFE!
THAT'S what GREAT parents do!

It's NOT your choice to make.
Good parents support their children, not make them live with mistakes the rest of their lives!!

Would you expect your child to risk their life to carry a child they never planned? Would you be willing to take that risk, knowing your child that you love may not get through it?

For the record I was 16 high risk pregnancy. My mom NEVER gave the option for an abortion. The thought NEVER crossed my mind.

Your mom letting you go through a high risk pregnancy...well IMO is crazy, especially if the risk was to you!

If it were MY choice, I would have NEVER let my daughter have a baby that could potentially KILL her. Who said people get abortions and then pretend they were never pregnant?
I know women who agonized over that decision, but knew it was best not to bring an unwanted child into the world...rape and incest victims to be exact. Does your (high and mighty, my opinion is the "right" opinion) include those people, or is it ok to terminate then too?
Furthermore, babies are made sometimes with protection...
and no one should have to suffer a consequence because of a mistake.
Geeze what a great reason to bring a child into the world, to make you suffer your mistake..hey you did the crime, now you have to do the time.
Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside...

I was raped at 16. I did not want to be a mother. I did not enjoy being pregnant. I was scared. No matter what abortion did not enter my mind. No, I was not the best mother in the world. I was 16. I tried my best and he is grateful for that. I look at him today and think what if I would have killed him. My life would be empty. I have other kids, but I could not imagine life without him.


Tell me something. When you make mistakes 9 times out of 10 you pay for your mistakes. Actions have consequences. There is always open adoptions.

You let your 13 year old watch KIDS???? Don't get me wrong its a great movie that I've seen a ton of times, but 13 is a little young.

Also it doesn't make you a bad mother that you wouldn't allow one of your children to have an abortion. But being like Janet and trying to trick your child and then trying to get your child to give you her baby would make someone a bad mother.

I know you think its murder, I don't. I don't think states would allow abortions if it were murder. Murder is against the law, you go to jail for it. Abortion isn't against the law and you can't go to jail for getting one.

Of course you couldn't imagine life without him, the day he was born he was part of your life.
Some women aren't equipped to handle that.
It's all about choice, and we are all entitled to it.
Open adoptions IMO suck!
I could not handle the mother of my adopted baby hanging around...again that is MY opinion.
Adoption carries a huge burden as well, although it's a wonderful thing its never over for the birth mother. Always wondering where your child is and how he/she is being treated, can be emotionally devastating.

You still didn't answer my question.

OK let me throw this question out there. This is for the people who think Janet is allowed to make this choice for Liberty since Lib is only 17.




People keep saying Janet has the right to make Liberty have the baby because she's underage and I guess that mean she has no rights. BUT....
What would you do if you were a teenager and you got pregnant and your mother said you had to get an abortion????

Say Janet told Liberty she had no choice she had to get an abortion. Would as many people be on her side saying the mother has the right to make her daughters decisions for her.

Abortion is to be taken seriously. I personally think women just have an abortion at the drop of a hat. If I listened to the doctor I would not have any of my kids.

Everytime she tries to come up with a news idea it leaves her worse than before , She is too over bearing , Im surprised she had'nt got pregnant sooner.
