OK before anyone gets mad and starts giving there opinion, I believe that Janet has the right to her beliefs but I'm also 100% PRO-CHOICE.

And with that, what kind of mother tricks her pregnant teenage daughter into going through with a pregnancy. Janet has flat out said that if she makes Liberty wait a little longer to have an abortion then she won't be able to. Liberty is finally thinking her mom is going to support her and all she's doing is forcing a child on her that she doesn't want.

And yes I understand the whole, "she could have the baby and give it up" but Liberty doesn't want to be pregnant period. Janet needs to respect that.

Also I was thinking, if Liberty gave the child up, and one day he or she comes looking for Liberty and/or Tony, and has to realize that he/she was a mistake and the parents never wanted them. That would definitely *uck with someones head.

I think everyone needs to but out and just let Liberty make her own choice. And for all those people who think she's making a mistake and she will regret it later, that's on her to live with. But its still her body and her choice.

That is her MOTHER she has EVERY right to voice her opinion and stop her. How many women have an abortion and regret it. I would do the same exact thing to my daughter. I would not want someone to kill my grand baby. Liberty has a lot of choices without abortion. If she did not want to be pregnant she should not have slept with that guy.

It is Liberty's body and futur.If Janet wants to take the baby and raise it till Liberty is ready she can choose this also.Alot of mothers do this in these days.No big deal!That is what a mother is for. Not all woman regret their choice of abortion.There are many reasons including health and mental reasons not to mention nobody knows anything about Tony. He could have aids or be HIV for anyone knows.Seeing that the boy does have any respect for a woman.That is how it appears.He could be into drugs or alcohol for all we know.Which could cause many problems for the baby and family.We people don't always think about all the things that could be involved.
I really beleive that Janet is stalling to make it to late for and abortion,so she can have her grandchild.You know as well as I that Janet is kinda selfish in this way.

BOTTOM LINE NOT ALL AVENUES HAVES BEEN SEARCHED OUT YET.She could even miscarry for all we know.Janet is pushing Liberty to go to a possiable unsafe clinic then how will Janet feel?They are making Liberty feel so desperate that she cannot think things out.Janet wants a baby so bad that she would be willing to raise this child as her own or as the grandmother,so if or when Liberty has her schooling and her future planned out and a success then she could pick up where her mother left of.Plus maybe Jack doesn't want to raise another child either.LOTS OF THINGS TO THINK ABOUT!!!!!
Libertys body and future at stake here.Maybe God will walk in and help for the right thing to be done.We can only Pray.
Back off or lighten up Janet it isn't the end of the world.

OK this is for everyone supporting Janet, saying she's doing this for her daughter, she's been in her shoes, she's only 17, etc.

Janet wants Liberty to have the baby because she thinks Abortion is a sin. Janet is looking at this as a religions thing not as a family thing. Janet would probably say the same things to Faith, Sage, Natalie, or any other girl if they were in this situation at Liberty's age.

Janet needs to respect that Liberty is not religious and she needs to stop pushing her beliefs on her.

Janet has the right to her opinion but doesn't have the right to force Liberty to have a baby. I don't care how old Liberty is. I don't care if she was 13 or 30, no one has the right to force another person to have a baby.

The embryonic heart starts beating 22 days after conception!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liberty slept with whats his name one week and found out she was pregnant the next. That was like 2 weeks ago.



And I understand your thinking that if there's a heart beat then its alive. But sorry I don't. There's a reason women are allowed to have abortions up till like 20-21 weeks. I think some states its 16-18 weeks. The fetus isn't able to live outside the womb until after 22 weeks (at the VERY earliest).

Just some random information I found about age of consent laws in the United States.

NUMBER OF STATES (including DC)

Don't need any parental consent at any age- 14

Need consent only under 17- 1
Need consent only under 16- 1

Need to tell a parent but don't actually need consent- 14

Need a parents permission under 18- 21

And with all the states that you need consent, a judge can excuse you from that requirement.

I feel like they are sending the message to people that its okay to have unprotected sex because you can always stop a pregnancy by having an abortion. In my opinion, I don't think she should have an abortion. I think its wrong. Liberty is not a dumb person, so she would know to use protection. She does knows that sex can lead to getting pregnant. I must say that I agree, if the fetus has a heartbeat it is alive. We all should agree to disagree on this topic. Everyone is going to have their own opinion about abortion. We're not going to agree on everything. Again, my opinion. I'm not going to to sit here and tell you that you are wrong for your opinion, that would just be wrong.
I was a teen mom.( I had my son the day before my 19th b/day) Abortion was never a thought.

Now on the subject of Janet.. She is doing what she thinks is right. I don't exactly like the whole waiting until the last minute thing.

I sure hope this s/l is gone quickly and they let that kid not have a kid!
Nothing like encouraging teens to be mothers!
we already have a HUGE teen mother problem in this world.
Janet is not living on this planet!
