Ok so this has been bugging me so I need to say this. How many years have we watched James Stenbeck come and go and wreak havoc on everyone in Oakdale and how many times has this man died and come alive again? Too many too count right? So am I suppose to believe that Audrey Coleman comes swooping into town and takes down the all powerful James Stenbeck on her own by injecting a syringe in his neck? Am I suppose to accept that this is how they are going to finally rid us of James and this is how he is going to meet his long overdue demise? Sorry writers.I cannot accept this.This is ridiculous! One thing about James is he is no fool and I just cannot believe he was not onto Audrey and her scheme. He already suspected her once so he was not on his guard at all where she is concerned? James is one of the best villians in soap history and he was smarter than anyone. Not buying this and if this is indeed the FINAL end to James then what a waste.

I agree with the first post. I do not think James is really dead, just as I was not 100% sure that he was paralyzed, even though he was in a wheelchair. I hope he comes back with a vengeance, especially after Audrey and the crooked lawyer. I almost feel sorry for Ralph, the money-launderer if he runs into James--talk about an offer you can't refuse. I would like to see Paul and Emily left alone; I think Emily might be a match for James and earn his respect.

Or maybe somebody hires a voudouienne to bring him back. What a chance for an exotic character, candles and offerings on his grave, an empty coffin...

Just remember, James, "Eagles may soar but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines." If you are really gone, you are welcome to drop by on All Hallows Eve. I'll have good wine and a dark chocolate muffin, additive free, waiting.

Sense Paul had him embalmed so quick I thought maybe he was really gone this time. We all know how James is....He may still be alive. The show is good when he's on because we never know what he is going to do.
